- This video is a head to head graphics/visuals comparison with WWE 2K22 (PS5 version) going head to head against WWE 2K20 (PS4 version). Obviously its a new game against an older game, plus different generations of console, which means the outcome is a given. However you might not have realised just how much of a difference there really is and how far WWE 2K has come in terms of graphics.

Today we've got a little comparison of WWE 2K22 up against WWE 2K20. Obviously there is only one winner here, but I do think its cool to compare the visuals from each when both are side by side. Some models in 20 now look a little shocking in comparison! I might do a part 2 depending on interest, but expanded beyond just entrance motions. #TEAM101
Graphics are 10/10, particularly when you pick the Wrestlemania 37 stadium! With the sky, the clouds in the background....absolutely gorgeous, I'm going to create several venues by using that stadium. 😀
WWE 2k22 has amazing graphics , huge improvement over 2k20 especially the legends
except the AI crowd and comentator still really bad lol they reaction always not at right moment makes the fight so awkward
Yeah only a little bit but wwe 2k20 is fixed and the better game it has better wrestlers and much more content. Wwe 2k22 is worse than wwe2k20

Ok. I do like how they FINALLY updated triple h entrance and showed him actually walking out and using his water bottle BUT they messed up his mocap. He was way too fast or he just came out too early. And when he spits, it’s way before his music queue.

Also to be fair there were many times where Triple H didn’t hit the music Queue so it’s not totally inaccurate but I prefer the 2k20 pace
I never realized Randy's champ entrance was the same. man the graphics, camera angles, and facial expressions make a huge difference
In every wwe 2k Randy Orton and John Cena comes out to be the most realistic models

They still need to fix the hair physics, but I mean, they're going through the right direction now

I just love the camera work
Even just the titles actually looking real and not like a strap with a piece of paper stuck to them really improves the look of the game

I've been going to my 2k19 save to look over some CAW designs and holy fuck the difference is crazy like it feels like it was a 360 or ps2 game in comparison.

Literally Night and Day. 2K22 Graphics are Incredible! Especially in 8K!!! The Rock, Drew Mcintyre, Edge, Roman Reigns have the Most Improved/ Best Models imo.

I was very happy when the graphics looked good on ps4 too. I didn’t think it would as good as ps5 so I was happy about that

I kinda dig the camera work they're going with for 22, but I think 20 has them beat there. Feels a little more like the broadcast in 20, or at least the broadcasts I remember watching. Things may have changed. Some of the pans in the 22 work seems off to me but they're both good. This vid just helps me to realize just how good looking 2k20 was

The improvements are undeniable, but the hair is still complete trash.
Championship belts look a lot better on 2k20, especially when around the waist of superstars..
Take a look at charlote flair on wwe 2k22, the belt outside the robe looks awful… and when she quits the robe it looks like the title is floating around her..

Some wrestlers still look off tho. Seth Rollins didn't get the same makeover as these guys, maybe they did, i just haven't played the modern 2015-2020 games.
Two plus years and a new console generation... and there is not much of a difference, the leap from PS2 to PS3 saw much more of a difference
the face expression in wwe 2k22 is more spot on. If you look at Roman at 4:01 you can see that clearly.

Am I the only one who thinks Ric Flair was a downgrade from last game? The side by side comparison it doesn't even look like Ric in 22. At least in 20 it at least looked kinda like Ric Flair, and the hair color is off as well. Other than that I think all of the other superstars were definitely upgrades!

Just hope they don't go back to the annual release schedule. Can easily keep supporting the game with Showcases, move-sets, arenas, superstars, graphical enhancements (still no HDR10 or Dolby Vision) etc. for 3 yrs at a time. They already put the loot boxes in to get their money back and then some.

2k20 is like them walking down to the ring taunting a little bit but 2k22 it has like what they do when they come down to the ring you know they talk to the crowd like John he actually talks to the camera before he comes down to the ring but in 20 he just throws and throws the flag
If you look at wwe2k20 the marks on randy orton's head look more realistic than in wwe2k22 even if wwe2k22 looks better that's what developers forgot to do at randy orton
They should take 2 years to develop and improve WWE game like this. We don't need WWE 2k every year.
Gonna be honest. Not liking Brock lesnar’s 2k22 modal. He’s way to thin and not has wide as he needs to be. 2k20 actually got his physique better. All others they hit perfectly though.

You are not only comparing two games, but two consoles from different gen, So I think this might be tricky
The PS4 version is literally identical to the PS5 version because it was made specifically for last gen consoles... Same exact graphics and framerate.

Fact of the matter 2k sports is a great developer team if they just took there actual fuckin time and not drop every year we would have the most greatest basket ball and nba game same with madden but ea is to money hungry so that's never gonna happen

After playing the new game for a month or so ive come to the conclusion that its worse then 2k20 the reasons i say this are yes it might have new stuff and improved graphics but custom entrances are gone and it doesnt fix any crashing because my 2k22 crashes way more then my 2k20 so i only play 2k22 for some things but the crashing is worse this time
