Hey there! I have a short on how I repress powders and also a full length video on how I repressed my highlighter. For my hairline powder, I just took a few eyeshadows about the color off my hair, mixed them together and then repressed them like I show in the short and the video! I hope that helps!!! I go into full detail in my highlight repressing video! ❤️

You would need the density you’re right. Density = mass/volume, you have the volume so you’d need density. You might be able to assume a density around 1 if the main ingredient is water to get a rough estimate.

The practical side of my brain that would have let me be an engineer if I could do complex math, wants to measure out a mL, weigh that, and then find the mass that way. Your eyes! Pleased to announce I hit bottom on my ELF No Budge cream shadow pot in Sand Dune and bare spots inside my Rare Beauty liquid eyeshadow in Nearly Neutral. I love both of these because I can be one-and-done or fancy with shimmers or liners. Both shadows are over a year old but I have no issues with smells, irritation, or performance, so I will keep on using them for now. Happy new year everyone!
Those caviar sticks always break I gave my mom one and it fell out the first time she used it. Which sucked. You definitely get your money's worth with the paint pot!

My new panning journal has really faint dots and my old eyes have trouble seeing them 😂 Thank you for showing us how to track. It gives me some great ideas how I'm going to do that this year!!
LOL yes, the fainter dots are something to consider. I have to have good lighting when doing my journal. 🤓 My old journal was just a small paperback, so it got really beat up with daily use. I’m just surprised how hard it was to find a nice dotted journal!

The colour of the Marc Jacob’s lipstick looks a bit brightener than what you usually go for I think. Your looks usually evolve around your eyes and that lipstick is more for a look that’s lip focused. You had great progress on most of your other products. Love your updates and your eye look is beautiful.
I think you are right. The lip look is just a little too bold for me. I would love this shade as a blush though! I’m still going to work on it for 6 months and see how I do, because I wanted to give it a fair shot. Thank you for being so interactive with me this year! It was been wonderful getting to know you and encouraging each other with our goals!!

1 ml of water is 1 gram of mass. Liquids with oils and pigments might weigh a bit more, but it give a decent estimate. Weighing in grams will be most accurate to track use.
Hi Erin, You did an amazing job with your panning this year. I was quite impressed with your panning journal and how you keep track. This is very helpful. I'd like to see how you setup your journal for 2024. I like to write things down vs having on my laptop. I'm sure it will probably be similar. Will you please share that? I just order the Jelly pop primers, finally. and a few other things. there goes my No buy. I've been waiting for it. So I'm not going to beat myself up about. I'll let you know how I like. I must have a much lighter hand, I tracked my MAC paintpot used as primer and it was 692 uses 😮 they are more expensive in Canada, but I got so sick of it (and yet now I miss it 😅)
Wow!!!! 692! That is incredible!! I did use it as a spot concealer also because it was a great tone and had good coverage. But I’m sure If I had it for almost 700 uses I would be sick of it too. 😂
I've used the green power grip. First big difference is that you get less product in the power grip for the same price. And I might have to try them side by side again, but I just felt that the power grip had more tug on my skin when I put it on.
Well then that settles it, I will have to try the jelly pop primer! Fingers crossed there will still be some in stock next Friday when I get paid. lol@@erintaylorwrites

WOW! That is great! Cream shadow pots are hard to use up, but it is so satisfying to hit “pan” on them.

If you have used Elfs power grip primer do you know the difference in performance between the jelly pop primer and the power grip primer?
