The rapture is one of the seven mysteries the Bible teaches. A mystery is not clear to many and in this context even believers. It is no sin for even those who don't believe in the pretribulation rapture are entitled to the taking away whenever it will be. But I invite everyone here to find out if there's a correlation between: i)distinguishing between the church and Israel and a belief in a pretribulation rapture. Ii) failure to distinguish between the church from Israel and a denial of a pretribulation rapture. Both of these are tied to a phenomenon called in scholarly circles "Replacement Theology" and the understanding thereof. I marvel at angel Gabriel linking the second coming of Christ to Israelites and their metropolis Jerusalem. This is Daniel 9 explaining the 70 weeks prophecy. Above all, this is not a salvation issue so fellow believers we're one in the Lord and the hope thereof. Be blessed.
Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ? (Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30) The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations? 1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Galatians 3:8) 2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ? 3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds? 4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh? 5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers? 6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"? 7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost? 8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.) 9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? 10. Watch the RUclips video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church. Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology. Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:
“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.” Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107. Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and Hebrews 8:6-13? Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church?

Sorry Bro, can't agree. There are no passages in context that teach a pretrib rapture. It's an idea brought to the text from someplace else, as is seen in the contemporary treatment of Thessalonians. Context must be considered in any interpretation. Jesus said he will come after the tribulation of those days. The 2nd coming is when the rapture occurs, when he gather's his elect. Amen?

@@davidmorris3682 We are not so different, I just put the "comings" you guys believe in into one "coming," which the Bible speaks of. Paul even describes the rapture as the Lord's coming in 1 Thess. 4:15. There is no reason or justification to say the coming that Paul discussed is any different than the one Jesus talked about. Jesus also said the resurrection of the righteous is when? On the Last Day. That would mean not 3.5 years prior. You have to realize that, though the Beast does persecute Israel, he also makes war with the saints for 3.5 years (See Dan. 7). So the Beast attacks both the Jews and the Church. In fact, according to Rev. 12 he first attacks the "woman who gave birth to the manchild" and then she is given a place of refuge away from the Beast for 3.5 years. Then in anger he attacks the "rest of her offspring, those who keep the commands of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus." That would be us. Amen?

Soon the pretribbers will have a case of serious hope deferred.... as a result many will fall away (2 Thess 2:1-3) and become apostate. Thinking that their once beautiful ideal was a promise of God, they will be disillusioned and follow the antichrist instead. Jesus promises that the 'stony soil" believers who have no mindset for tribulation and persecution will "immediately stumble" when it come... Mark 4:18. Both the foolish and wise virgins are indeed watching for His return... Matt 25, however the foolish simple do not come prepared because they thought His coming was imminent.... so there was no need to consider enough oil to endure any wait.... in the end they are told, "I know you not".
Randy, I completely agree with you, as people have convinced themselves that they won't endure ANYTHING NEGATIVE. I can't really blame them for desiring that, but I am a realist who would rather be prepared for what lies ahead and not be caught unawares when it does.... Jesus said you WILL have tribulation and so I take Jesus at his word. I also agree that many people will become disillusioned when they have to endure what is to come, and will be confused about why they haven't been saved from any and all suffering. Better to be mentally and spiritually prepared for what lies ahead, instead of looking for an escape exit. The rapture will occur on God's timing, and not before. It's great what you are saying, but your rapture theory is not true, the church will be raised in the resurrection at the last day, see John 6:39,40, 44, 54, immediately after the tribulation, see Matt 24:29-31. This is why Revelation 20:6 says, blessed is he that has part in the first resurrection. This will be a time for the saints to have faith and patience during the tribulation, see Revelation 14: 12. Don't be fearful, the fearful and unbelieving will have their part in the lake of fire, see Revelation 21:8. God can, and will take care of the church during the tribulation, see Revelation 12:14. Have faith in God and don't be deceived.
The church is clearly gone before the tribulation starts. It’s all throughout the Bible and is as clear as it can be but that’s ok because you may be pleasantly surprised! This is not a salvation issue at all. If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you are trusting in Him alone for your salvation then you are my brother in Christ, so no hard feelings🥰. I've been a born again Spirit-filled believer for over 40 years now, with a diploma in Christian ministries, and a teaching and evangelistic ministry. If I ever miss a day reading God's word, I catch up the following day. You made a very broad statement by saying, "the church is clearly gone before the tribulation, because it's all over the Bible." Can you show me anywhere in the Bible that it says the church will be raptured before the tribulation, because if you can it would contradict all those scriptures I gave in the comments, to validify what I was writing. I don't know if you checked the verses I included in the comments, they make it clear the church is still here until the first resurrection takes place at the end of this age, when Christ returns for his bride and goes in with her to the marriage, see Matt 25:6-10. Midnight signifies the end of this age and the beginning of the thousand year reign; sadly though, the foolish virgins, (born again believers) were disqualified from the marriage because they had not developed a relationship with Christ, Jesus said he never knew them! We can't manipulate scripture to make it fit what we think should take place at the end of this age. I agree it would be a pleasant surprise to be caught away before the tribulation, but it wouldn't be such a good surprise if we pinned our hopes on being zapped away and it didnt happen.

The rapture is one of the seven mysteries the Bible teaches. A mystery is not clear to many and in this context even believers. It is no sin for even those who don't believe in the pretribulation rapture are entitled to the taking away whenever it will be. But I invite everyone here to find out if there's a correlation between: i)distinguishing between the church and Israel and a belief in a pretribulation rapture.
Ii) failure to distinguish between the church from Israel and a denial of a pretribulation rapture. Both of these are tied to a phenomenon called in scholarly circles "Replacement Theology" and the understanding thereof.
I marvel at angel Gabriel linking the second coming of Christ to Israelites and their metropolis Jerusalem. This is Daniel 9 explaining the 70 weeks prophecy. Above all, this is not a salvation issue so fellow believers we're one in the Lord and the hope thereof. Be blessed.
His error is he believes we get the same body we died in. This is not true. We get a body fashioned for heaven. Read 1 Cor 15.
Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Galatians 3:8)
2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost?
8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
10. Watch the RUclips video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church.
Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology.
Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:
“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”

John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…

In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”

@@thebuff7271 Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.
The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Sorry Bro, can't agree. There are no passages in context that teach a pretrib rapture. It's an idea brought to the text from someplace else, as is seen in the contemporary treatment of Thessalonians. Context must be considered in any interpretation. Jesus said he will come after the tribulation of those days. The 2nd coming is when the rapture occurs, when he gather's his elect. Amen?

@@davidmorris3682 We are not so different, I just put the "comings" you guys believe in into one "coming," which the Bible speaks of. Paul even describes the rapture as the Lord's coming in 1 Thess. 4:15. There is no reason or justification to say the coming that Paul discussed is any different than the one Jesus talked about. Jesus also said the resurrection of the righteous is when? On the Last Day. That would mean not 3.5 years prior. You have to realize that, though the Beast does persecute Israel, he also makes war with the saints for 3.5 years (See Dan. 7). So the Beast attacks both the Jews and the Church. In fact, according to Rev. 12 he first attacks the "woman who gave birth to the manchild" and then she is given a place of refuge away from the Beast for 3.5 years. Then in anger he attacks the "rest of her offspring, those who keep the commands of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus." That would be us. Amen?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.
The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Both the foolish and wise virgins are indeed watching for His return... Matt 25, however the foolish simple do not come prepared because they thought His coming was imminent.... so there was no need to consider enough oil to endure any wait.... in the end they are told, "I know you not".
Randy, I completely agree with you, as people have convinced themselves that they won't endure ANYTHING NEGATIVE. I can't really blame them for desiring that, but I am a realist who would rather be prepared for what lies ahead and not be caught unawares when it does....
Jesus said you WILL have tribulation and so I take Jesus at his word.
I also agree that many people will become disillusioned when they have to endure what is to come, and will be confused about why they haven't been saved from any and all suffering.
Better to be mentally and spiritually prepared for what lies ahead, instead of looking for an escape exit.
The rapture will occur on God's timing, and not before.

It's great what you are saying, but your rapture theory is not true, the church will be raised in the resurrection at the last day, see John 6:39,40, 44, 54, immediately after the tribulation, see Matt 24:29-31. This is why Revelation 20:6 says, blessed is he that has part in the first resurrection.
This will be a time for the saints to have faith and patience during the tribulation, see Revelation 14: 12.
Don't be fearful, the fearful and unbelieving will have their part in the lake of fire, see Revelation 21:8. God can, and will take care of the church during the tribulation, see Revelation 12:14. Have faith in God and don't be deceived.
The church is clearly gone before the tribulation starts. It’s all throughout the Bible and is as clear as it can be but that’s ok because you may be pleasantly surprised! This is not a salvation issue at all. If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you are trusting in Him alone for your salvation then you are my brother in Christ, so no hard feelings🥰. Can you show me anywhere in the Bible that it says the church will be raptured before the tribulation, because if you can it would contradict all those scriptures I gave in the comments, to validify what I was writing. I don't know if you checked the verses I included in the comments, they make it clear the church is still here until the first resurrection takes place at the end of this age, when Christ returns for his bride and goes in with her to the marriage, see Matt 25:6-10. Midnight signifies the end of this age and the beginning of the thousand year reign; sadly though, the foolish virgins, (born again believers) were disqualified from the marriage because they had not developed a relationship with Christ, Jesus said he never knew them!
We can't manipulate scripture to make it fit what we think should take place at the end of this age.
I agree it would be a pleasant surprise to be caught away before the tribulation, but it wouldn't be such a good surprise if we pinned our hopes on being zapped away and it didnt happen.
