I agree. He should have sat there with Arad for awhile until he became a little accustomed to the women. I know everyone thinks he is this great dad, but I don’t think he is all that wonderful. He suddenly dropped Arad off at his mother’s house and left for a long time. He didn’t need to be gone all that time. His procedure did not take 2 months. He could have come back to see his child on the days he wasn’t in the hospital. That was very traumatic for Arad. He felt abandoned. True he became close to his grandmother, but then dad comes back, and rips him away from his grandmother. He hardly ever sees her now. That was cruel. Then he continues to have a steady stream of people coming to his house, or he dropped Arad off at various family members. He just kept traumatizing Arad time after time. He really needs to take the time to find 1 mature women to come and watch Arad daily, and do some light housekeeping, and cooking for him. He needs to stop using Nargis because it keeps her from getting an education, and she is too young to make responsible decisions. She does some things okay, and then turns around and harasses him. It is wrong of Saifullah to use her as a servant when she should be in school. I think he is very selfish, and only thinks of his needs. He doesn’t help his sister get her house built.
