8:52 minute video. It took only a few seconds to state that the suspected reason to wave off the tower catch was that the radio frequency transmitter/antenna system on top of the tower may have been damaged by lift off and was therefore not able too provide the accurate positioning coordinates needed for the catch.
Not certain it’s AI, could just be using a computer generated voice, as my company does for training videos, but the scripts are all written by humans. I don’t like that they are not providing any new video footage but just reusing clips from other channels and SpaceX.
Just turn on the youtube AI content filter. None will come through, it's like an ad blocker. Can't believe you don't know about it, look in the settings
AI is just another tool. It's like when photography came along and put most of the portrait painters out of business. They flat out refused that any form of photography could be artistic, and now people realise there are photos that don't qualify as art to them, and photos that are incredibly artistic. Same thing has been happening with music. This video is not art, lots of AI generated images are not art. I play around with some more advanced AI image generation workflows that allow me to get really creative and hone in on the details, instead of just typing in a prompt and letting the AI model do it's thing. I wouldn't consider myself an artist, it's just for fun but this keeps happening as new technology gets invented. This is much more rapid and widespread with these new AI models though.
As time goes on you'll start to see some really awesome AI stuff that isn't just automated synthetic garbage. People will use it to make stuff that just wouldn't have been made possible to do before.
Seems like they should have two towers. One for take off and one for capture. This would minimize some damage and may simply/align design for purpose. Just my two cents.
Or, a single take-off / capture tower as now but move the transmitter / antenna nearby to a simpler and cheaper elevated mast similar to a cell tower but sufficiently far enough away from takeoff tower that can cause damage. I'm assuming the antenna does not require being right on top of the capture tower. If it does - never mind . . .
I’m not sure why there is an issue. This is a test vehicle and the SpaceX said they may have an issue with the catch! Let’s take our time and see the results!
This AI doesn't even make sense!! They blew the booster up shortly after it's ocean landing. It was such a beautiful lift off though, Love Elon Musk and Space X
So if Musk "Reveals" why doesn't the video tell us what he revealed? This is a misrepresentation which I resent. It was obvious that the damage to the launch tower wasn't a lightening rod but a communications tower but I was hoping to discover that the miss alignment would have affected the guidance precision in the last few metres. Also, there was an error in the description of the in-orbit Raptor firing. It was one of the inner gimbaled low altitude optimised engines that was tested not a vacuum optimised as stated in the narrative.
Yeah, and on some channels they cut before showing that. I think that was why they didn't catch it. There had to be a problem they detected and that is why they diverted it.
IMO, I believe this proves that HB and Starship should have landing legs. No “catching” is going to be perfect every time. Murphy works 24/7. Using a landing pad as an emergency backup makes more sense. Each iteration of Raptor engines is getting more efficient, powerful, and more reliable. The weight penalty of the landing legs is far cheaper than the cost of having to the replacement of a HB or Starship. With landing legs one can almost land anywhere. Besides I believe Starship will have to have landing legs to be human rated.
Yes a striped down" non launch" tower would be more logical than risking damage a launch tower, that would be needed for a fast turn around. That would seem to be the answer.
If they can’t catch the booster because of a problem, why can’t they land the booster on land like they have done before besides landing it in the water as another alternative to land the booster!
Doesn't anybody at SpaceX know that it is bad luck to have bananas on a ship? Sheeez! every fisherman knows that. Good thing they only put one banana on the ship or the whole ship would have been destroyed
Flight 6 and still getting problems. Even with Space X is Amazing high tech support equipment. We all already know they can launch 1,006 Starships but they WILL NEVER be as exciting as a Saturn V launch NEVER as long as Musk has a hole in his rear end. I am starting to notice people are getting bored with Space X launches already. I will also remind you the Saturn FAMILY of launch vehicles had 33 launches between 1961 and 1973 without ONE FAILURE. How many failures has Star Ship had so far ? Three or four.
If your theory (that spaces chose to study the splshdown, rather than catching) is true, why would they not have announced that - rather than tease a catch?!
Musk will call the next one Starship "V3", but he's skipping the name Starship "V2" for this one for an unknown reason. Does anyone know why he would do this?
The only thing people wanted to see was the booster get caught again. Don't understand why he's not catching starship too. Falcons land themselves, he's just throwing them away.
It was already said why they didn't go for a catch. But you still crammed in 9 minutes of useless shite no one wants to hear and did it with AI. Could you be anymore clueless? 🤡💩💩💩
Why? Because Trump was there in person. Elon didn't want to risk crashing the booster and possibly damaging his chances at a role at the White House. He know full well how Trump acts out emotionally and doesn't like being associated with any failures of any kind. Crashed on purpose.
It's amazing how some people can be so arrogant it wasn't supposed to complete succeed that's why it's a test run they keep making changes that kind of test to failure it might be a good idea for those who don't quite understand it to find another hobby that's more simpler to understand
What a dumb thing to say! Failed? The safety parameters are greatly expanded for these test flights. While not yet reaching perfection they have all been successful within the frame of expectations of just about everyone.

And that's why I check the comments first
So done with these AI channels

Control C Control V copy and paste and a little programming that is still telling AI what to say and do.

they are already building another tower

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Water landing of the booster was so straight forward and relative risk free action that shows that bringing the booster back is quite safe proof
"Musk reveals WHY".... video entirely on speculation.....
I’m not sure why there is an issue. This is a test vehicle and the SpaceX said they may have an issue with the catch! Let’s take our time and see the results!
That is amazing....All I heard is maybe this or maybe that, Elon didn't say a thing!
AI is good but so obvious and annoying. Stop it.

Shame he's a complete whack-job.......he does hire smart people though
This is at least the third video that you have repeated virtually everything. About 1 minute of info crammed into 8 to 10 minutes. Get real.😒😒
Spot On !
Another Alien Bot production !

Your forgetting the most important part ,,why are they blowing up after entering the water..,am I the only one asking that?
Yeah, and on some channels they cut before showing that. I think that was why they didn't catch it. There had to be a problem they detected and that is why they diverted it.
@Sarconthewolf i do think your right!!
Maybe their triggering the self- destruction for safety measures
@@gregtroublemaker1862 But then you would learn less from the remains.

why don't you just say you have no idea

I hope that woman at 6:23 realizes that she's internet famous.
That clip gets replayed in almost every video from most of the RUclips channels.
Also the dude giving a thumbs up at the ISS.

im not a fan of musk, but if someone is gonne do it, its him. not a fan but huge respect
Well at least you're honest
For mission where the landing location has No chop stick tower , they need to proof it still work
Why isn’t the booster designed to float so it can be easily retrieved by salvage ship?
Maybe someone was superstitious and didn't want to chance catching Booster 13 ???!!!

Space X didn't like Chinese tableware.
here we have an other space x press office
New ways of doing things are bound to have problems. All success are the result of countless failures. This achievement is already outstanding!
Why bring starship down in the Indian Ocean? Why not the Atlantic? Too much ship traffic? It would be easier to return it from the Atlantic?
Go Glenn! Then the other cheerleader can 'reveal' something! Or not.

New tower to have a flame trench ?

Maybe hide the antenna when it takes off and allow it to appear after it has left. Simple.
Hey Musk don't go cheap on me
Musk will call the next one Starship "V3", but he's skipping the name Starship "V2" for this one for an unknown reason. Does anyone know why he would do this?
6 is the last of V1. 7 is V2
Maybe to avoid association with the German WWII V2 vengeance weapon / rocket that killed many people

This launch wasn't a "show" for our amusement.
They explained what they were doing and why during the spacex webcast as the ship flew. Basically they are still stress testing stsrship

What a bs narration
