When i started playing WoT i did grind up to the Jagdtiger. With a buddy of mine we would team up (he in the T95, me in the JT) and present an impenetrable wall of steel (he in Front, me in the Back, only showing the toughest armor of both of us). Good times. Long gone, really good times.
I remember back in the old days, when we had the Waffeltractor E100, we combined my Doomturtle with my friends WT E100, i was the armor and he was an extra gun.
The T-95 was my first tier 9 tank. When I started playing the game I first thought, "this is a game about tanks, I should find which tank has the thickest armor and work towards it" and I loved it. The T-95 was THE definition of a wall. I thought the speed limit was reasonable for how virtually invulnerable the T-95 was at the front. With everyone complaining about how slow it was, I kept thinking "don't you dare ruin this tank for me" and they did. The tank got a speed buff, but that came with an armor nerf. I'm also pretty sure Wargaming increased the size of the hit boxes of the hatches on top of the T-95. Now the T-95 is just a shadow of what it used to be. Not so much of a wall anymore. Because any tank that is practically invulnerable from one side is OP right? Even if the gun on that tank can only look in one direction and the tank doesn't spin around that fast, it's still OP. "I should be able to fight every tank head on or it is OP." I hate stupid people so much, and they are the people that Wargaming is listening to which is ruining the game.
Frontaly unpenable Vehicles are op just look at the Object 279 e but it would be more Balanced if the talk wouldnt be super fast and could turn bis turret arround completely
Using two repair kits allows some hilarious trolling. The enemy is thinking "Hahaha I've got you perma-tracked...". Then you repair real quick and blow them away. Good stuff, QB.
If I walked in to that, this is what I'd think: "Well, protect my butt from what?? I dont trust you back there!! I'll hold onto my pants with both hands!!!!!"
The doom turtle was my first t9, even ran it in some clan wars back in the day. Was beyond happy once the e3 was introduced, minus the painful grind for it.
Great fun to see Quickybaby playing Tortoise (and TDs in general - the recent Grille 15 video springs to mind too) so aggressivelly. In random matches you mostly see players camping with these vehicles in the bushes on the red line, totally wasting their DPM or mobility potential, and then getting owned by lights and meds towards the end of the game.

I've seen plenty of great replays from various tanks. But I've never seen anyone rush 3 tanks at once solo in a turretless tank detsroyer. Kudos to you Quicky,respect.
13km/h was an advantage for the T95 back in the day. Since it was so slow, you could literally drive to the enemy base and cap out or go all the way around a flank unnoticed.
This thing is piss easy to penetrate frontally it has two massive cupolas on the top and the lower plate if he isn’t hiding it is cheese Honestly it’s rare I see a T95 have a good game anymore unless the enemies are all noobs. Everyone knows where to shoot this thing, it was great when it first was around and nobody had a clue but times have changed
I must admit I like the gameplay of vehicles like this, waltzing in, bouncing enemy shells, shooting continuously... I don't have neither of those featured, but had fun games like these in my AT-8

With the advent of the "wheeled tanks" in WoT, WG needs to expand the battle maps, in order for the "slower tanks" are allowed to get set up for battles, instead of getting instantly gibbed by, of all things, Wheeled tanks that can cross from one side of a map, to the other side in mere moments in order to wreak havoc among the slowest TD's and Arties in higher-tiered matches, torturing some players with such speed handicaps! I know that a T-95 might be able to survive such attacks from wheeled light tanks and probably even the Tortoise could, but you have to understand that for the average player, WG is screwing them over, and another reason why World of Tanks is slowly dying. BTW, love the two videos on these ultra-heavy TD's!

Are you high? The Badger has the capacity to bounce tier 10 medium and heavy tank premium HEAT and APCR rounds off of it reliably by using it's gun depression over a ridge line. The Tortoise does not. The Badger can do 30k/h. The Tortoise cannot. I've 3 marked both of them, and while they're definitely both monsters... Neither of them are "lackluster" in any sense of the word. Okay, maybe speed, but that's it.
You are going crazy lol. The Badger is a behemoth, besides the LFP it is more gold proof than an angled Type 5 and it has a broken gun that has insane DPM and great accuracy. It is far better than the Tortoise and definitely worth the upgrade, it just has a slightly different play style.
yesterday i made my best game overall with the tort, 6290 dmg, 8250 bounced and 2907 support in a tier9/8- match and nearly got 6 kill (who thought arty was so near to me...), over 1600xp for Master :)

Absolutely has been my favorite tanks in the game for years but i have never played them outside of test server, now i finally decided to get both on live server.
Top tier their DPM is terrifying, but 175 pen at tier 7 + poor accuracy.Plus the SU-152 as a platform just... Eh... Also, ISU122S has higher DPM at the same tier than the 122-44. But again, the 122-44 is a great platform which can actually use the DPM.
I had the t95 back in the day on beta for xbox360 and I remember 1 game on malinovka where I literally crawled right through the middle of the open field and just took all the shots and kept on crawling and spotting. Other than that it was super hard to do much in battle because some of the maps were so big you couldn't help if no one pushed you into battle.
What's awesome about the tortoise and the badger is shooting HE with that DPM; perma-track your opponents that try to sidescrape you, lock them in a position that they can't fire back, and have at it! I carry at least 20 HE rounds, and I trapped an Obj. 257 once; took out his whole HP bar by perma-tracking him, and at the end of the battle he was like, "Who tf carries that much HE in a tank?!"
Regarding your comment about when the T95 just sits there and laughs while bouncing all the shots, reminds me of one of the games I had on Ruinberg in the T95. I was the only one heading into the town while the rest of the team lemmingtrained to the east and as slow as it is, I didn't get the "right" corner in time before I met enemy tanks. Luckily enough, there was some rubble on the ground that could protect my small lower plate. I sat there vs 3 or 4 heavies I think and probably a few meds, firing HE on all of them. It was honestly a glorious battle and the enemy team just gave up at some point and went back to protect their base. If you want the link, tell me, but I'm gonna let you know, this replay is from April this year, so it's a old replay.
QB, you know the 'Murican mind set, right? That's what happened to the T-95. We made the T-28 took a long hard look at it and figured, "There ain't enough tank on this tank. ADD MOAR TANK!!!" And thus the T-95 was conceptualized.
Around after the open beta I believe they didn't have a American td line. I remember the old t57 artillery was the closest thing to a TD then due to how it's cannon was mounted on back of tank so it could level its howitzer near horizontal.
I'd love to see the IS-7 on this channel sometime soon. It's been powercrept to hell but they did buff it a little bit, and I still have an immense amount of fun playing mine. There's something very satisfying and comfortable about the 130mm, and hull down it's still an absolute beast.
I had over 600 battles in my T95 before they changed the top speed to 20km/h. Yes, a lot of the times is was super frustrating considering you're on your "daily double" and your team wins before you get a chance to shoot something. But I still enjoyed the hell out of it.
Tier IX "sweet spot"? I normally do -5-9,5k in my Obj 257, even if 90% of these games were 2-3k damage and 2-4 kills its just frustrating how capitalism works on a communistic tank.
... and QB, what you didnt mentioned aswell. In the "good old days", there was no cooldown on the repair or med kits. So with lot of luck you set a whole round in a tank with an injured driver and a broken engine. In this rare cases, SLOW became a whole new word. And it reminds as something like continental drift...
I went up the US TD line (through way of the T28 Prot to T28) just so I could play the T95. I loved it even back when it went 13km/h. By far my favorite tank in the game.
You're missing the tier 9 TD with the least care for who is in front of it, most op tank ever played the Obj. 263, it has way better armour then the T95 because it's only frontal weak spot is the lower plate... yeah that's it
i actually love kicking a 263's ass with my tortoise when we both have weakspots covered. 263 has anothere very small weakspot around the gun -muntlet and because most players angle it to maximise armor that weakspot beacomes big enough for me to penetrate 80% of the time. btw completely free 2 play with 0 gold ammo used (so i obviously hate when in that situation i get spammed and penned with heat and need to simply out-dpm them....)

Around after the open beta I believe they didn't have a American td line. I remember the old t57 artillery was the closest thing to a TD then due to how it's cannon was mounted on back of tank so it could level its howitzer near horizontal.
I'd love to see the IS-7 on this channel sometime soon. It's been powercrept to hell but they did buff it a little bit, and I still have an immense amount of fun playing mine. There's something very satisfying and comfortable about the 130mm, and hull down it's still an absolute beast.

I had over 600 battles in my T95 before they changed the top speed to 20km/h. Yes, a lot of the times is was super frustrating considering you're on your "daily double" and your team wins before you get a chance to shoot something. But I still enjoyed the hell out of it.
Tier IX "sweet spot"? I normally do -5-9,5k in my Obj 257, even if 90% of these games were 2-3k damage and 2-4 kills its just frustrating how capitalism works on a communistic tank.
... and QB, what you didnt mentioned aswell. In the "good old days", there was no cooldown on the repair or med kits. So with lot of luck you set a whole round in a tank with an injured driver and a broken engine. In this rare cases, SLOW became a whole new word. And it reminds as something like continental drift...
I went up the US TD line (through way of the T28 Prot to T28) just so I could play the T95. I loved it even back when it went 13km/h. By far my favorite tank in the game.
You're missing the tier 9 TD with the least care for who is in front of it, most op tank ever played the Obj. 263, it has way better armour then the T95 because it's only frontal weak spot is the lower plate... yeah that's it
i actually love kicking a 263's ass with my tortoise when we both have weakspots covered. 263 has anothere very small weakspot around the gun -muntlet and because most players angle it to maximise armor that weakspot beacomes big enough for me to penetrate 80% of the time.
btw completely free 2 play with 0 gold ammo used (so i obviously hate when in that situation i get spammed and penned with heat and need to simply out-dpm them....)

hah, did same kind of chase down at red shire castle with t95 as here with tortoise. I was laughing so much, shame it wasnt recorded. And that 2nd repair kit was new to me. Never thought you can take 2 of same! Thanks!

The M4 Sherman is pretty much the same as the Pz. IV H, but the German tank has some spaced armor to prevent HEAT and some HE.
It's weird (after waking up) to watch lius tech tips and then you QB. You look sometimes really similar but when I look at noon or evening I see a lot of differences.

once with my M6 tier VI american HT i fired 30 shells to AT8 tank destroyer{i think british} but still not penetrated.What should i do?
