It's always something isn't it? Didn't think there was enough room for birds to make a nest - now I will need to go check ours!

You could hear that little rascals when we were in Jefferson Ohio and as soon as we emptied it they fill it back up. Even had almost a large tree branch in there. It was crazy

I like how you repaired that. I reinforced my ladder rungs buy installing stainless all thread all the way through, through one vertical through the other right through the plastic ends and then I used Acorn nuts and snugged them up and used permatex on the threads. Since the all thread goes through the verticals it rests on the vertical and not the plastic end.
I also built blocks that rest on the bumper and against the bottom rung, they fit into place on each side so when I climb my weight is on them and not the bracket screwed to the back of the RV.

If you had to do it all over again...would you still by a Riverstone Legacy?

    • @HetteshWorld

Yep we definitely would. We are very happy. No camper is perfect but we feel very blessed that we got a camper that didn't have a lot of issues. It was built before all the rush of campers that came during covid. Bob, my husband has been very good at keeping up all the maintenance and taking care of it just like you would do your house. We will have a video in a couple weeks where we had our roof fixed by Riverstone warranty and then I think we might be doing another tour video. We do have send playlist under about us that show the buying of everything. Thank you so much for commenting. We appreciate it

Hey Guys -- we are seriously thinking about getting the same rig as you have. But we are worried about site size, particularly in the rear. Do you guys ever have any issues with having enuf room to get your Garage door down and get your Toy out daily ? We are specifically worried about the Oregon/Washington area Thousand Trails sites and if they have enuf room for garage door access.

At the time we were in Washington, Oregon. Bob had kidney stones really bad so our access to Thousand Trails turned out to be limited as we had to stay at only a couple. But the ones that we stayed at, we were able to access our Can-Am Spyder anytime we wanted to. Whenever we decide to ride we typically elect to put it away into the garage at night. Unless we are not able to. In 3 years. We've only had two instances where we had to get the Can-Am out ahead of time and then back into the spot and then we keep it stored under the hitch and we do even have a cover if we need to. We have had very few issues while traveling with our RV. But whenever we get to a site before we pull in we stop get out, inspect the site and make sure that it will work. Cuz some sites throughout the country. They may drop off the back. It just depends. We have had instances where we want to open the door and the door height of the level camper needs to be at a certain spot to get the Can-Am out correctly so it may level and it may not be what we need but then we lower the whole camper to keep it level to the height that we need to manually. There's only been two instances just recently where we had everything level but the door was still not touching maybe on one side. So we have extra boards that we have put down to make sure that it's even for us to drive in and out of and that was in Hershey's RV park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. So there are some obstacles that you can encounter with our RV or with any RV. You just have to be prepared and understand the site situation that you're pulling into. As a reminder, always look up, look sideways it'll look down, look front and back. That way you can understand everything that there is about your particular site

@@HetteshWorld thank you for all the Insights ! 🤓. It sounds like the sites you get are plenty big enuf to maneuver your “Toy”. See the pic of ours, to the left of this note. FYI - we sent a note to your email acct recently too. Home is Northwest Arkansas, for now. Honestly, we haven’t traded our Travel Trailer in a the Riverstone just yet. Because, we are in a 50/50 debate about whether to choose the Riverstone Toy Hauler….or just keep the bike stored in a indoor unit close by in our travels and then get the Riverstone 442MC with the extra 1/2 bath. We flip about every day on this one. Love the garage for the toys, but also like the idea of 1/2 bath and bigger bedroom. We need to make a choice soon. Thx for the quick reply !!

@@takeitontherun5984 You need to think about what is it that you want to do when you travel. Is it important that you have your toys with you so you can take them places and explore and do things? Or is it important that you have a bigger bedroom that you're going to be spending lots of time in an expansive bathroom to make it worth it. You just have to ask yourself those questions. Also make sure the size of your ride fits inside. Whatever toy hauler you end up getting if you end up getting back.

@@takeitontherun5984 hour ride should fit good in all models. I do have some videos up that shows that Riverstone has a true traditional toy hauler as well as their newer versions of the regular River stones like you're talking about. So check them out too.
