I have to say, one of the major reasons there are more luna followers, is basically because luna has lots of character development. I mean, we have had 3 episodes completely focused on her.. but when you look at celestia, her character is SO STIFF. she barley shows emotion to anything in the show, they have not gave her much of a personality, and even when her sister returned from evil capturing her, going to the moon for a thousand years and BACK, she only hugs her. that is the most emotion you ever see from her. a hug.
