Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for the Nintendo Switch is quite an amazing game, possibly one of the Best Mario Games and 3D Mario Games of all time. In fact, this game is much better than popular games Among Us, Fortnite, and Minecraft, which popular youtubers Markeplier, Dream, Tommyinnit, and MrBeast spend way too much time playing. No, this Mario Game is one of the best Nintendo Games ever made! One of the reasons it is such a masterpiece is because SM3DW Switch not only comes with one game, but two complete games! That's right, the newest Mario Game came within a port of 3D World, and it is called Bowser's Fury! Many youtubers have already done videos on this game, such as Nathaniel Bandy, Nicobbq, and even Mayro and InfiniteBits. Now, Bowser's Fury Gameplay is amazing, Bowser's Fury Music is phenomenal, and Bowser's Fury Final Boss is on even another level. In fact, it might go down as one of the Hardest Bowser Fights in Mario history! Once you obtain 100 cat shines in Bowser's Fury and completely 100% the game, you'll unlock a much harder version of the fight with Fury Bowser, were the final Bowser Fight is even harder than before! Bosses such at Cat Boom Boom and Cat Pom Pom absolutely pale in comparison to this crazy Bowser's Fury Ending final boss, and it's so epic and so difficult that I decided I needed to do a video on it!

This is an edit, no not for begging for likes, it's just that he deleted his comment, I guess he couldn't think of a comeback when I called him out for bad behavior. The bossfights are badass. But the scary part is when you learn that Cat Shines no longer scare Bowser away...
oh yeah, that made my heart just... oof away, it is unlike any other mario game, it gets really dark, and honestly, the endless fury kinda scarred me by how there is no peace

I will agree, this final fight DID end up killing me the 1st time around, and it's hard to not get hit at least ONCE, overall it's the BEST 100% reward out of any Mario game imo

Skill issue
Launching at Bowser full speed with fire and fiery pillars surrounding you at every single angle is one of the most satisfying and awesome Mario moments that I have experienced in quite a while
After taking one jump to cut a bridge with an axe, breaking a Brick Bridge, after falling into lava countless times,

I really like how they designed this fight. Honestly the only thing that makes this super easy is the fact that you have so many powerups at your disposal. Seriously, if you have all powerups bowser would need to hit you 80+ times in order to properly kill you. And that makes it awesome because if someone wants a challenge all they have to do is avoid using the powerups.
True, but in the 100% fight, the power ups don't respawn, and you only get three. (Technically two, since you use one to start the fight)
I don't think anyone will find themselves losing the giga bell

i see some tendencies that they will make it like the kirby games a normal "challening but fair" story final boss and a secret/hard to reach true final boss wich kicks your butt if youre not prepared for it

One nitpick i have with this video is that while you're talking about the whole "if you dont want to see the final boss or completion reward" thing you have gameplay where all the completion rewards are visible lol. It would have been a better move to move that footage like 20 seconds back i think.

But don't get me started on Inner Agent 3.
I think the fact that in the last section you can just spam infinite items makes it trivial.
Also if you're not that great at platforming the final boss of NSMBW is an absolute nightmare.

The boss was exciting and a bit of a challenge for sure but with all the cat bells (even when they don't respawn) and all the powerups you can hold for the Plessie section, dying is hard. The amount of mistakes you can make and still live is massive.
We did it. I assume Nintendo watch your mario odyssey boss ranked and your views of the difficulty of Mario Bosses
To be honest I'm pretty sick of people complaining about the final boss every time a new mario game out. I swear people are just so difficult to impress and plus it's a arjl game bosses aren't meant to be difficult until the post game in my opinion. For me as long as the final boss feels epic easy or not is all that matters in a mario game. Galaxy 1 had an easy final boss but the scenery and sensation was epic.
Honestly the 3D World final boss is just so cool. Yeah its easy but its just so cool.
(I mean regular 3D World not Bowsers Fury but Bowsers Fury final boss is cool too.)
Galaxy is an exception as they actually cared about the boss design. Nearly every mainline mario game has borderline F Tier bossses either being too easy or too unoriginal to be fun to fight. The New Soup Series is the best examples of this, like why does all the koopalings do the same shell spin when they get stompef at least have one home in on you or crash and cause explosions.
@@guynamedrick4419 The one on the DS was good though. All of the castle bosses were unique. Though you had to fight Bowser Jr. several times, both his attack pattern and the arena were slightly more difficult each time. Even the final boss had you fighting Bowser AND Jr. at the same time.
Yeah galaxy had the most epic final bosses IMO and none of the bosses in odyssey were hard until you had a rematch in the mushroom kingdom or moon kingdom for bowser so I agree on the post game difficulty

Hard is an overstatement, it was a step up over the normal fights during the game but nothing taxing enough to be called hard.
Overall, I think Mario bosses in general are becoming at least more difficult! Not as difficult as other games but enough for me to be aware of it!
It's one of my favourite fights, maybe the best, but if you stay near the giga bells and throw Bowser his spikes repetetly comboing him it's not that bad. For second part, spam power-ups until you win. Anyways a perfect fight with Bowser🎉
I'd say 64's final boss was harder but this is a clear second.

@@toptextbottomtext3062 the main problem with 64's Bowser was landing the final hit. And of course speedrunners make it look like a joke. They've optimised the game to an insane degree.

I would say...I don't know. I personaly would not call the boss itself difficult. Bowser doesn't do much and what you need to do is simple enough to figure out. But throwing can be an issue if you mess up the timing. So the boss itself isn't difficult, but more the control if you ask me.
Nah wonky controls, lag, and the fact the last is requires you to get the timing on your throw to very good while spinning quickly. Doesn’t make the actual fight difficult but more less tricky, but if ya just bad, yeah it’s difficult.

If all the Bowser fights get ranked, there is some he already covered, just hope he includes paper Mario Final Bowser as he is a bit of a cheater, other then that, wonder how he will rank Super Mario World's Bowser sense I find it annoying to hit Bowser in the final phase
Gonna have to 100% agree here! How often do you actually give your all during a Bowser fight? This was a fight where I actually had to pay attention and use Power Ups to stay alive. Easily one of the best fights against the Dragon Turtle in the series!
In my opinion the true Final boss is also easy. I beat it on my first try but it was nice to finally have something more difficult

I’ll say a medium but I did found a glitch you missed the first hit and loop around 1 time and hit him at the shipwreck and bowser go back to the start of the second phase.
Medium, If you Stack up A LOT of Power-ups, You might just Win, However you Still might Get hit A BUNCH!

I really wasn't expecting the fight to change after getting 100 shines. I already liked it before but the souped-up fight is utterly fantastic. and ultra-instinct bowser is just so goddamn sick looking.
kinda reminds me of how in metroid zero mission the final boss becomes a lot harder once you collect all the items.

I also love it better if any goomba, ghost, piranha plant, whomp, blooper, or even shroob boss would be awesome

It's still much more manageable and easy compared to the more notorious bosses out there such as Inner Agent 3, Tabuu, and Sans
Man I just love that feeling I had when I learned that Cat Shines don’t scare away Fury Bowser anymore during the game, knowing that my peace was over
This boss was so easy for me, all I did was spam spike pillars on him for at least 3 times in a row, back to back.
But I do admit that chasing Giant Bowser with Plessie was pretty tough

Honestly the True Final Boss really is an Insanely Challenge it hard you to avoiding Those Spike pillars and the Fire Laser once Spike Pillars on the second phase and the third phase is even more difficult to avoid
The second phase of the 100% fury bowser fight was so hard
This fight is far and away the hardest in an itemless 100 shines speedrun. It's hard enough as is, but in itemless you can't get any power-ups at all. This means you can only get hit ONCE without dying, which is incredibly unforgiving in the Plessie section.

I mean,seriously though- He tried ALL of this and STILL failed. He went from Fury to Godslayer Bowser,and even after he took all the cat bells and literally when COO-COO CRAZY. I almost feel bad for him.
Boss is actually pretty easy. When he’s spinning, hit him in the stomach, he’ll get knocked easily. Tilt the camera and look for pillar spikes, grab them (with Y) and you can pelt him with it literally whenever to knock him. Easy peasy.
Second part is just kinda long, just hop over the spikes, and dive under the fireballs/fire laser, though it might’ve been long after me since I kept rushing him.
3:01 that second phase is in the 50 shine final boss too, but im pretty sure that one is 3 hits and also slightly easier

It's rare we get a difficult Mario boss fight in general, somehow Nintendo can make the levels leading up to the boss harder than the boss itself
Nintendo or Mario games have way harder levels than bosses. Champoins road and the perfect run are two complete nightmares. (Champoins road i refuse to do after the insane amount of stress i went through completing the perfect run).

That’s what I like to see. Now that really does look difficult.
This was truly an epic battle of all the bowser battles we had. What I did to stay alive during the 2nd phase of the battle, I collected all the available power ups and use them when I’m at Mario’s small size.
First time I did this final boss fight, I got stuck against the side of crisp climb castle and Bowser wouldn't leave, so I just clawed him to death because when he roars to force you away, it just pushed me into the tower and I could hit him again immediately after.
There's always going to be a way to exploit the hardest stuff
Wanted to make sure the final boss was hard for me, so for phase 1 I first grabbed all the giga bells and prevented myself using the spike pillars and ball bombs to hit Bowser then in the final phase I didn’t allow myself any extra power ups from that menu

I used all the bells at the start, being greedy, and still beat the godslayer part with ease. The chase part was much harder, and i only got good at it after the third hit.
That final phase is pretty easy if you just keep spamming the y button to dive. You can dive under both the spikes and the fire. It’s pretty easy, and it cheeses the fight. The first part is still pretty hard though, but the second part can be cheesed pretty easily.
I got the game on launch day and I have 100% completed it twice already. I didn’t die that many times on the secret final fight, but mostly because I was loaded with spare powerups.

You forgot about something about the giga bowser ramp battle. If you miss the final hit, he forces you to go the WHOLE WAY BACK before you can even get another try at the hit.

Yeah, the fact that he would move away just before you attacked him got very annoying real quick but I was able to beat him relatively easily but I really enjoyed this boss fight. It was well worth fully completing
Here is a tip when bowser shoots the 3 layers of spikes dive then a dive jump in mid air dive again

The good thing about this fights difficulty is that is not so hard to the point of getting frustrating (Inner Agent 3) but it's still hard enough for the player to feel rewarding for beating it in my opinion.
I think True Fury Bowser is still very easy to take down. I have no problem avoiding the spikes and it is easy to pick them up and throw at Bowser to get some damage in. I didn't even know his health regenerated because I kept attacking him.
I do agree that the second phase when he is just normal Mega Bowser is hard. If it weren't for the amount of items you can hold to constantly regain health, this would've been more difficult. I died around 3 to 4 times? before I eventually beat him due to learning how to avoid his attacks. When the spikes launch in rows you want to jump over them but then when Bowser shoots his fire, you want to duck under the next row of spikes. By doing this, I won the battle.
This fight wasn't actually that hard for me, I just tilted the camera down and pelted him stakes and had Jr. throw me every item he had.

This battle wasn’t so hard for me, I mean it was harder than other past fights but it wasn’t the most difficult thing in the world for me. The part when you are in Plessie for me was super easy, I just moved forward and when I got hit I just used a power up and it was like nothing happened
super saiyan mario vs ultra instinct bowser basically is all i could think about when playing this fight XD was a very enjoyable boss fight over all thought that end was a paaaain because he didn't like holding still for me XD

I find it actually hard, I have wasted several powerups to survive the fight and not die, I can imagine doing it without using power-ups is extremely hard lol
tbf, its quite easy, all you need to do is just dodge pick the pillars and groundpound.
i had more problems with supermario oddyseys final bowser then this one, and for the last part all u need to do is dodge and get speed. that way when u get hit to small mario u get another cat suit.
OMG, that is so true. Most final Bowser fights require you to hit the axe, and the fight is over. This is definitely not the case with Bowser's Fury. So, yes, this Bowser fight truly is one of the hardest in the Mario franchise.

Yep, both 50 and 100 shine Bowsers have the Plessie phase, but 100 shine Bowser's is significantly harder.
It was really easy tho, you can throw the rocks to stun lock it then ground pound for lots of damage, the Cat mario scratch does chip damage and you can scrath the side dash fury bowser does on the exposed part of the shell
Oh yeah if you Air Cat Scratch near bowser like really close you will do some damage before pounding him

The pillars give Mario too much power. You can trap Bowser in a stun lock by throwing pillars because no matter what attack Bowser is using, he can be stunned by thrown pillars. This allows you to complete the first phase very quickly.
If Nintendo wants to make an extra hard boss, it needs to be hard, but fair, which means no cheap difficulty from big numbers or RNG. It also needs to be an optional extra challenge not required for the main part of the game.
To be honest I think it’s kind of easy, but the second phase amps up the difficulty, however if you have enough power ups your set really.
The Galaxy fights were still pretty fun >:(
Ultra instinct starts to play
I was able to no hit the fury section of the final fight on my first attempt and I took him down pretty quick. But the chase section. Oh god the chase section took me like 30 minutes and I used almost all of my powerups to get past it.
bruh you could use power ups in phase 2. i thought you can only use the super bell that they give you on the ship except for that i litterly forgot that i have like 20 power ups xd. now it makes sense why i spent 30 minutes raging on a bossfight in a mario game

Phase 2:
Bowser: now I'm Perfect Chaos
Nintendo: *starts making a new Mario game*
Also the person who designed the boss fight in normal Mario 3D World: ha ha yes *hit pow block*
Im still stuck on the darker side of the moon in odyssey, but this is insane
Also really glad that Nintendo made a battle where it takes more than 3 hits to defeat Bowser! Love that! Fans should really tell Nintendo that they NEED to make more games like this!

To say that the 100% completion Fury Bowser fight is difficult would be VERY accurate. Even I struggled with it in the final phase where you have to chase Giga Bowser. Also, is it just me or does the Phase 3 theme sound like One-Winged Angel?
This was one of my favourite Bowser fights simply because it took longer than usual. I don't really see how it's difficult though. For example, when spikes are raining down, simply don't jump, and look at the ground instead. Just don't stand on the red markers showing where the spikes will land and you'll be fine.
I did get hit quite a few times in the earlier fights with Fury Bowser, but by the time you get 100 cat shines, you should have fought him enough to learn his attacks and make it pretty easy. I'm pretty sure I didn't get hit at all in the final fight.
(Before anyone says I'm trying to brag, I'm really not. I'm not an expert Mario player by any means. In fact, it took me 2 playthroughs of Odyssey to get good at it, and I still haven't legitimately completed the 100 jump rope or volleyball challenges. I just don't see a reason why anyone apart from a kid couldn't beat final Fury Bowser first try.)
In my opinion the Fury Bowser Phase is pretty easy and the last phase is hard to dodge but you can still use all your power ups so u probably wont die once.
I remember getting the final bowser and one time when he fired his laser I threw a spike right into his face 😂
To be honest it seems like this fight can put you in situations where you have to take damage, which isn't exactly good game design (unless that's the intention, which is clearly not).
But that aside it's pretty good
