I watched your interview with Waleska and Efra (I completed til the end 😁) and you told the story of one of your medical condition talking to God saying "Why am I here again? Yes, but I am here with you". Those simple words broke me to tears and reminded me of my OFW struggles that God was with me through out my journey. Thank you Mr Garry! I was blessed even before in my teen years attended 1 of your concert "Shout for Joy" and you continue to bless me even now in this medium.. Ive lost my eldest son of 14 years, Gabriel Paolo to Leukemia last Oct 2020 after 14 months of battle and struggle, I dont know how our family can still be whole again, your song is so apt for our situation. Thank you Mr Gary V. God bless you. What a beautiful song, the melody & lyrics really came from a heart that knows God & human frailties. This song made me feel the heart of God during this time wherein lockdown again after a year. I cried listening to you sing & feeling the lyrics of the song that glorifies God in the midst of our storm. Indeed He never leave us nor forsake us He never will. He is near to the broken-hearted. Today as we celebrate Easter may we be reminded that God felt our pain our brokenness when Jesus was crucified & died a gruesome unimaginable unjust death in human hands. So we are not alone in our pain & suffering. There is a resurrection, therefore this too will pass & we hope & pray we will all grow closer to God to Jesus during this time.
