Great video. My son was given a 95 Dodge Dakota 4X4 from his uncle. This is exactly my plan for the hood of it. He is 14 and can get licensed here at 16 so we have time for repairs and paint.
Funnily enough I just finished watching your video on this exact hood from a year ago where you explained everything, but I had to watch it again to truly appreciate it. I’m always blown away with what people like you are able to accomplish!

Whatever the stencil is you use that has the decorative indentation on, may I suggest from one artist to another, that you get another stencil made to match yours that is mirrored.
It's a detail thing and I'm sure you've probably already realised that since you posted the original video, but to have the pattern mirror what is on the left-hand side over on the right, would look even better. I will definitely look your way for a bonnet design once I can find a suitable car to put it on.

For real it must be nice you could just send a tank. or have a new one sent to a place to be painted then sent to you. Imagine sender fenders or something to get custom painted. wouldn't end up well. It would most likely be a shipping damage thing with the fender. all in all.

Does seizing glue filled up all gaps between base coat and rised parts of foil? I mean if it still has a gap it could be pain in one place to wash it or polished it after its done

I’m rewatching this video and was wondering, 4 heavy coats of clear? Does that make the foil basically smooth? How resilient is it to normal automotive type abuse? Thanks! Love the channel!
