R5-D4 is a pivotal droid in Star Wars by default. It was the droid Luke bought from the Jawas along with C-3PO, momentarily leaving R2-D2 behind… luckily the plot stepped in and ignited its “bad motivator”, so 3PO suggested to Luke that R2-D2 might be a smarter choice. Phew says the galaxy! Later he was of course sold to Pedro Pascal. As a kid I was intrigued that R5-D4 is referred to as “red” while R2 is referred to as “blue”. Like I get that they each have key accents in those colours, but it’s hardly the dominant colour… Also I can identify at least 3 of the attachable/detachable arm doodads: its mainframe interface thingy, claw grabby thingy and electrozappy thingy. Technically.
For someone who loves these darn droids as much as I do, I know very little about them. My brain just goes "cute robot!" and that's about the end of that!
The Pit Droids are honestly so much more expressive than I thought they'd be
I love them
Great set, if it goes on sale I will get a second, can never have enough droids.
Agreed! The droids are my favorite part of Star Wars
está muy bueno, thanks
No problem! 👍

Cool set. I only saw it once in person but didn’t get it. I have an older version of the r5 droid and the Christmas version of the smallest droid.
They're really cool droids, but I definitely wouldn't have paid full price for this set
The way you attacked that blister pack needs to be studied 🧐
Much like a T. rex, I have short arms and no patience
