To each their own. I happen to like Frank's artwork even when I myself draw infinitely better. What's appealing to me is breaking the mold and creating controversy. It's his stamp and his signature on the world of comics and I can appreciate that.

Andy Kubert was marvel replacement after Jim Lee left X-Men. He did a good job. Frank Miller was ok artist back when he did Daredevil. The thing is artist who start off with Greco roman realism usually move on to abstract art. I think Frank Miller by the mid-80s started to get more cartoonish because of Will Eisner (spirit). Stop saying he sucks, he just quit being good.

I really like what Kubert is doing for dk 3 but that frank miller makes me want to cry. I know this is probably just me but I actually kind of enjoyed the artwork from tdkr. Sure batman looks like a shrivelled old mushroom in some panels but I liked it for the most part. Then tdksa came around and it made me think miller is just losing his mind which he probably is. His writing sucks too now (eg. all star batman and robin). I suppose I won't get my hopes up too much for this.

Sure he thinks the simple ideia of superheroes is crazy, so through his logic, they should be represented that way. But the thing is, I dont think the general audience is gonna agree, I mean, comon, we want to see superman, not a caricature that belongs in a van gogh musuem.

The art is just so unappealing to me that it ruins the book. The movie however looks great and fits the story. Just because the art is bold doesn't mean it's good.

I'm sorry idk about anybody else but I HATED the way they portrayed superman in the dark Knight strikes again smh I didn't even want him in it but the portrayal made it all worst. I couldn't stand how he acted as a lap dog to the government and the posing like why???
