  • The Chicken Rings Friction Saver is a new set of rings which eliminates any confusion in retrieving from the ground.
WesSpur's Niceguydave takes a a look at this new set of rings. The idea for the Chicken Rings came from Giorgio Fiori’s Facebook page ‘I love SRT’. Emile Palacio-Tellier and Julien Dansereau created the system.
The Chicken Rings are made from premium components:
    + Yale BlueMoon Rope
    + SMC 40mm Radius Rings
    + SMC 28mm Radius Ring
+ Iron Street Rope Splicing Sewn Terminations

I purchased one after seeing video and when I received it there were a stack of stickers with it. Rings are perfect size for any form of retrieval you prefer along with passing spliced eyes through. Product is very well constructed and company shows love by giving back. Tree people love stickers!

Pretty sweet. We tree climbers are a simple bunch. If you say retrievable, we'll grab our wallets.

Emile Palacio-Tellier and Julien Dansereau created the system, we built it off their idea.

Why not use just two rings. One with an inner diameter that stops the retreival "ball" and the other one with a large enough diameter to let the retreival "ball" slip through. Been on the market for a long time.

I think the appeal is this one is retrievable from either end, unlike other ring and ring savers. Stay safe!
