bro this is sick. i have a question though, why do you keep building 1/2 scale builds? couldnt you just spend a lot of time into 1 full scale tank that will stand out and scare everyone? lets just say you build a full scale Abrams tank and made lots of different parts video wise and you will get bucket loads of more views. great job though, im impressed either way :)

Amazing tech skills. I would love to see a diesel motored one that really can pull. The most difficult part must be the tracks. I think i would prefare a six wheeled British ferret. Be more robust and could really have some fun with it. A mans toy without worrying about track damage.
IJN Omega The mechanism for it to pivit could be done with some flange bearings mounted to the inside of the upper turret where it pivots and some sort of framework on the inside mounted to the turret ring with shafts to go through the bearings. I think the biggest challenge with that tank would be size. I'm guessing at minimum it would have to be 3/4 scale.
How quick can all of your tanks actually go? I mean on a flat smooth surface such as a road. Would it be difficult to make a scale tank that goes say, 20-35 km/h.
Keanan Aldridge I know they will go at least 7mph. On a nice smooth flat surface you might get up to 10 mph which would be 16 kph. So with a higher rpm hydraulic motors I would say 20 to 30 kph is achievable.

So with limited funds and resources I decided to build multiple smallar sized tanks rather than one large one that would not be as easy to maintain and operate.
Can't you get like a government funded hangar to work in and make replicas for museums? Bigger tools and space for free, in exchange for what you already do! It is a shame to see talent get wasted on smaller scale replicas when you could do full scale ones!

I don't l would if I had any. I just used a 1/35 scale model and took measurements and multiplied the number x 17.5 to get half scale. So all I have is some scratch paper with a bunch of numbers that wouldn't make sense to even me at this point.

Thannks. The turret ring is a 40" dia pallet carousel. One had welded to the hull and the upper ring welded to the turret.

Each tank has cost me around ten thousand give or take a few thousand.
It's really cool and awesome but my concern is about the wheels. It's not like the German tank destroyer behind which has an overlapping wheels.
