I'm not Roman Catholic (Eastern Orthodox, actually) but find your "mini-sermons" so straight forward, refreshing, practical & uplifting. I have to give you kudos, Fr. Mark, for being the only priest I know of, RCC or Orthodox, that understands that people need and WANT education & teaching on the End Times. If we are to not become part of those who are deceived, we need to know what we are up against and how to stand against it. Bless you Fr. Mark for quite literally being the "voice of one calling in the wilderness".

Pray for me I am 32 and I know your desire to act when you were younger will make your prayers for me, powerful. I feel for ya. Everyone's going through the "pull" of end times darkness right now. It's the Matt 24:12-13 scenario. Gal 6:9 is a good reminder to press on and 'work' the salvation we've been given.
Praying for you, Arnold. What helped me recently was just deciding I wanted to pray at least 3 times a day, chose what prayers when, then put an alarm on my phone to remind me. I now have many prayers in my arsenal, but what I feel has helped me grow the most is the Sacred Heart novena. I think I've only missed 2 days in the last 6 minths. I can complain a lot still, but not about God not being active in my life. He is truly present. Take the first step confidence in God's faithfulness. Even if that confidence isn't there. 2 things I've heard: "I believe. God help my unbelief" and "Pray as you can, not as you can't". Those two sayings have seen me through many a day. God bless.

Build a platform of wet wood under your fire on top of the snow. Bring dry tinder with you, cotton lint from the dryer, cotton out of pill bottles, strips of Kraft paper from an ice cream box or milk carton, etc. and carry a lighter for back up.
