It just goes to show, learning martial arts at a young age comes in really handy later in life when you want to defend yourself or others in their time of need.
as a martial artist, this story makes me very happy. Martial arts (arts, not sports) help you a lot with character building, education about justice and confidence. Great to see that in the movie the girl is the most powerful. It is very true that it has nothing to do with gender, muscles or body mass, it's all about technique. That's also why Alex and Harry can defend against the bullies in such a short period of training. It's simply applied technique.
Ip Man is going to wish the world is like that for his son. I mean in Ip Man 4, Ip Man's son had to go through the school where using martial art for self defense counts as bullying others. That girl experienced similar things where either defending herself or defending others counts as bullying others. Educational system had been flawed where they come from. Ip Man even thought of getting his son to go to America to study but he finds out going to America was even worst which meant the educational system and the whole law was going to give American people a power to bully the Asians. This movie has got to be better then Ip Man 4 movie because this martial arts story eventually leads to justice. Not keeping a system that gives bully a power to pick on the weak.
Especially when he’s someone who’s always surrounded himself with a bunch of “minions”! Which means he didn’t need to be an effective fighter, as, just like bullies in the real world, bullies are cowards who attack in packs, being “gutless wonders”, rather than actually being brave enough to act on their own.
I used to get bullied mad in grade school for the first eight years. Every recess was a "ok, who's gonna find a clever way to hit me today?" thing. You know, have your wrist twisted around, put in a headlock, whipped with a stick, have a ball "accidentally" get smacked in your face 5 times while you're passing the soccer field, have your shit taken, stuff like that. Started Shotokan Karate, 2 years later had beat up the various bullies, suddenly no one was picking on me anymore.
Ayo, buddy, I was bullied too yah, by my seniors in high school, there was even this one time where they put some rocks in my bag n made me carry it all the way home. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was naive back than 😭😭😭 if it was the today me back than, than I will have broken there Jaws 🤣🤣🤣
Throughout elementary school, I was bullied too. However, my bullying is a lot better than what you received. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. I also started Korean martial arts with my two best friends, one who also got bullied by the same people. The bullies left us alone after moving schools but me and my friend know that we will have to face them again. We're still training!

Very Inspiring movie! PS: If interested Keep Reading I as being bullied by kids in New York when I moved in at age of 10. So once at the HandBall court I was corned at the edge of the tall fence by 2 kids, I felt so scared for my life that my instinct turned onto autopilot mode and pushed the kid down on his butt. As his older brother started chasing me, found out where I lived and stalked me few time. Being bullied is serious, being a bully is the worst.

one of the greatest gifts I can give to my unborn kids in this cruel world is the ability for them to defend themselves. i rather be called to my kid's school for defending him or herself from a bully than to be called he or she was bullied.
Great 👍, while you are at it, don't forget to teach your kid not to hurt or bully anyone with his skills and only use it for self-defense or to save someone who is being bullied. The problem is that a lot of parents teach or push their kids to learn martial arts forms for self defense but then they turn into bullies themselves. As kid's don't understand good and evil as adults and they often show off their skills to either impress someone or to be treated as everybody's favorite, the problem is they showoff their skills on weak ones
I was taught to not start a fight, but if one is brought to you, finish it. When my daughter was harassed and bullied by a gang of girls. She was headed to one of the military academies, was the captain of several sports teams and was on Student Council. I’m from a deep north reservation, and learned to defend myself young, I had sweated and sacrificed to insure my kid didn’t have to…when I went to talk to the school principal, he informed me that if my daughter fought back, she would be suspended and blah, blah, blah..I asked him how many times was she expected to be this girl gang’s punching bag…as I was walking out of the school, I got an eyeful of the girl gang trying to corner my kid. With one of their Mom’s sitting in her car laughing, at which point he went to the woman’s car, and opened the door and climbed in, she was stunned when I grabbed her purse, pulled out her wallet and snatched up her license, she was trying to claw her purse away and hit me, I locked my door and whaled n her sorry azz, then bit her face, I had slugged her so she didn’t have breath, her her little gang of animals she “mothered” were banging and n the car. I bitch slapped her, told her I would hunt her sorry azz down should I hear of any more incidences of bully garbage from her little sleazy whores. And you know, there were no more kids ncidences of that crap happening to my kid, or the others the girl gang had been bullying. The directors of teenage behaviors is first and foremost the parents, then the Authorities. But what so many out there don’t get, is that you can live through pain, and you need to know how to deal with azzwipes…and frankly, I would gladly have gone to jail too protect my kid from those beeyotches. Entirely too much horse crap is tolerated, and too often, Authority doesn’t do its job.
The sad part is in the modern Western world, fighting a bully will get you in as much trouble as the person that is the bully. Basically self defense is discouraged.
In some parts even defending yourself in your own home is discouraged. Not to mention when you get mugged or r*ped when the attacker just so happens to be "different".

Bully: Hey you must be the rich kid, Bruce Wayne. What do you do in your free time? Bruce: Breaking iron bars with bare hands Bully: Aight! Imma head out.
When starting grade 6th, my son was bullied by grades 8th-9th. Although a skilled Tae Kwon Do fighter, he was physically no match for the bullies, who were late in grades by several years, and he did not want adults to get involved, out of pride. So I suggested him to group with his friends, to collectively fight back. It made wonders: not only nobody picked them anymore, but they were strongly bound, going into the fight without hesitation for the others when they would not have dared to defend themselves.
I bet your son did not trust adults in the 1st place. These things can happen where adults in charge can support the bullies so of course it may make sense for any child for not wanting adults to get involve. Kids at that age have past experience dealing with teachers who discriminates them.
@@hp2546 It's more about early will to solve issues by themselves, knowing that looking for adults' support could not be permanent and made them look weak toward the bullies. So they found the collective dealing much more efficient.
I remember I was bullied all through the first grade and underestimated. Mind you I was just 5 and obviously smaller and younger then the other kids. It got to a point where they started to hit me and I had enough of it so yea you can guess what happened that day 🌚 I got in trouble imagine that but the bullies got nothing done. Later on though they they also get in trouble as they deserved. They just avoided me all through primary school and then I left to another school lol I never got bullied to this day thankfully.
Great recap!👋🏽 My 1st bully was my so called older sister🙄. It prepared me 4 the bullies in school, somewhat, lol. Eventually 2 avoid trouble I skipped the cafeteria & volunteered in the Guidance Counselor office til I graduated 💃🏽🥳
0:06 no matter how strong you are, you've gotta let you hand lose for the hand chop on the neck so that the power transfers from your hand to the neck instead of from the hand to the air
The story concept touched a nerve with me. I had two chronic illnesses growing up. Six near fatal episodes left me underdeveloped and vulnerable to bullies. When I finally got a clean bill of health. I got serious about my body. Come spring neighbors were calling my parents saying. What happened to Bill? Boy used to have a neck. The bullies were shocked when I became the defender of the weak. One bully couldn't stand the upset to his fun. Tried to attack with four of his friends. Put him in the hospital for ten days. Didn't intend to hurt him that bad. His buddies were no help for him. They being the cowards most bullies are. Stepped back when the tables were so turned. All attempts on me stopped. The weak sometimes found out who had brought an end to their torment. I thanked me. See,, I always tried to make my attack on the bully away from open view. Private affair. I didn't try to add humiliation to injury. No more than truly necessary. This not only cured a bully. It made true friends of several. They learned about respect. For all. So the video brought back old memories. I'm Sixty-five now. Keep it up. Many of today's youth need this line of thinking.
This literally reminds me how I was in middle school 😂 all I did was fight bullies. I had fun fighting them too😂😂 one of the bullies ended up leaving the school during 7th grade 💀
Jenny overpowering the bullies to save someone who is weaker than them has got to be one of the most satisfying things ever when you experienced it like Alex and Harry in school.
I like this story as I can relate to it being bullied myself when I was in the Elementary School and then Hight School just because I was the smallest in the class. Without provocation they would just hit me in the back of my head and they laugh. So, I decided to fight them even when I know I can't beat them at all. I decided to enroll in a KARATE CLASS (JKA) and with this I can depend myself even with guys bigger than myself. Watching from Illinois USA: 02-26-2022...Early morning here now. TO ALL BE SAFE.

one of the greatest gifts I can give to my unborn kids in this cruel world is the ability for them to defend themselves. i rather be called to my kid's school for defending him or herself from a bully than to be called he or she was bullied.
Saameeee
Great 👍, while you are at it, don't forget to teach your kid not to hurt or bully anyone with his skills and only use it for self-defense or to save someone who is being bullied. The problem is that a lot of parents teach or push their kids to learn martial arts forms for self defense but then they turn into bullies themselves. As kid's don't understand good and evil as adults and they often show off their skills to either impress someone or to be treated as everybody's favorite, the problem is they showoff their skills on weak ones
@@TheSumit11121993 definatly will teach them to be good kids hahah
@@maracohen5930 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is dope, glad they back off
Dang I thought Alex would end up with the girl, but the movie was surprisingly educational.
Bully : I'll rule everyone in school
Jenny : So you chose death
The sad part is in the modern Western world, fighting a bully will get you in as much trouble as the person that is the bully. Basically self defense is discouraged.
In some parts even defending yourself in your own home is discouraged. Not to mention when you get mugged or r*ped when the attacker just so happens to be "different".
"Power with out justice is just violence" I love that
Movie request : "A Thursday" it's an Indian thriller film. The short summary: "When a playschool teacher - (Yami Gautam) kidnaps 16 small students and she puts a series of demands, it not only shakes the Mumbai police and city, but it sends repercussions throughout the country and its politicians"
It's really good and I would love to see you make a recap of it! Been watching Mystery Recapped since 1 year and I am glad I found it. You make 1-3 hour long movie into a 11-13 minutes recap without missing important points! And it's just amazing. Hope you reach 2 million soon :D
This guy pumps out videos faster than my dad left me….
Did he left for milk?
Hopefully your dad hadnt left you tho! If you like this kind of videos, check out our channel too man ;)
His dAd left for milk. So my mom does online shopping.

Bully: Hey you must be the rich kid, Bruce Wayne. What do you do in your free time?
Bruce: Breaking iron bars with bare hands
Bully: Aight! Imma head out.
I can hear his feet hitting the tarmac at a terrified bully double-speed!
3:58 “He is best friends with a guy named Harry” Ron and Harry, sound familiar?
“Power without justice is just violence”
What a profound statement!
Mystery recapped do be going through a kung fu phase
And i love it ❤️
4:20 Ron loves Shannon, Shannon loves Harry, and Harry loves Ron. What a controversial love triangle, smh.
I love this one. 8:00
"Love u ... as friend" says Harry.
PFF-
You caught me off guard with the "Jenny tells Alex to stop simping."
Glad to hear it!
This is a hilarious movie. As a person that took taekwondo starting at 15 I can attest that it's 1000% based on reality.

Both Jenny and Shannon are BEAUTIFUL ❤
"jenny tells alex to stop simping" HAGHAGAGGAGGA
mystery recapped is loving kun fu, karate and all these days
All of his recent videos are about karate or kung fu
Great recap!👋🏽 My 1st bully was my so called older sister🙄. It prepared me 4 the bullies in school, somewhat, lol. Eventually 2 avoid trouble I skipped the cafeteria & volunteered in the Guidance Counselor office til I graduated 💃🏽🥳
Ouch. Nice when you can rely on your relative to beat you up!
sounds like a good movie. this is better than reading all the subtitles.
I’m obsessed with stories when the main character gets revenge. It’s so satisfying
I'm only 3 minutes in but I can tell that Brack is my spirit animal
seeing jenny just ABSOLUTELY FLY KICK RON IS JUST MAKING ME FEEL LIKE RON DESERVES IT
"Jenny tells Alex to stop simping" quote of the day 💀
This is the best episode i’ve ever seen
Actually watch this it’s so good
Big brain move, send your kid in school full with bullies to advertise your karate school
OMG, he showed his face! I can tell my wife that he is indeed still alive, and NOT replaced by a convincing voice disguiser !!!
“Ron is looking to join a local gang soon. His best friend is a guy named Harry” 🤣🤣🤣
What’s next, a Hermione?
Hermione is the gang leader
A great story we need more superheroes that stands up for the right of humanity, thanks for sharing 😊
11:36 I like how she knocked him out cold with a flying knee to his body, rendering him unconscious for the remainder of the movie.
Moral of the story: learn self defense and stand for yourself. Help and teach people that are weak.
The fact that Ron's best friend is Harry is a deja vu
its a nice movie. i really liked jenny, harry and alex's chemistry!
Ron and Harry's names made me laugh.
This literally reminds me how I was in middle school 😂 all I did was fight bullies. I had fun fighting them too😂😂 one of the bullies ended up leaving the school during 7th grade 💀
For some reason my school thinks making some papers against bullying will stop every person from bullying others.
That only works if you Hold Up the Anti-Bullying Paper in front of the Bully’s face, so they can’t see the fist coming behind it!
Jenny overpowering the bullies to save someone who is weaker than them has got to be one of the most satisfying things ever when you experienced it like Alex and Harry in school.
Jenny did things that Ip Man would of done. She thinks like a martial artists just like Ip Man.
I finally see the face behind the narrative voice. Thanks for the review. I love it 😻
Okay but admit it, in that last scene Harry looked like a recruiter trying to get a kid to join the military 😂 😂 😂
everyone is a karate master in korea
Sad to see bullies not being punished but if you fight them back you will
Seems really nice movie

Nobody bullied my daughter. At age 13 she had a black belt in karate and at sixteen had a second black belt in Korean Hapkido.

they're the best trio istg
I watched the series. Really like it.
I like this story as I can relate to it being bullied myself when I was in the Elementary School and then Hight School just because I was the smallest in the class. Without
provocation they would just hit me in the back of my head and they laugh. So, I decided to fight them even when I know I can't beat them at all. I decided to enroll in a KARATE
CLASS (JKA) and with this I can depend myself even with guys bigger than myself. Watching from Illinois USA: 02-26-2022...Early morning here now. TO ALL BE SAFE.
