    --------------------------------
In this clip, Lord Jamar and DJ Vlad discuss The D.O.C. who is a legend in the eyes of true hip-hop heads. Lord Jamar stated that he believes D.O.C. had similar star power as 2Pac when he came on the scene. He praised him for being one of the first artists outside of New York that he thought could really MC.
Later on, Lord Jamar and DJ Vlad chopped it up over D.O.C.'s lasting impact and how he should consider writing a book to tell his story to the people.

Sense of a rich man, knowledge and the rhythm”
The D.O.C. Is like the hip hop bo Jackson. the formula might be in my top 10 favorite hip hop songs of all time. It might be my #1 favorite song. That no one can do it better album from top to bottom is classic. The formula made me fall in love with hip hop as a kid. From all the work he did on the chronic, niggaz4life album, doggystyle, etc makes him such a legend. He wrote bosses life for snoop too.

That's because he suffers from delusions of grandeur. He wants to be looked at as more than what he think he is in hip hop, as opposed to what we know he is in hip hop. He was DJ that no one really knew about then, who parlayed that into this platform. Now he can say the things he says because it his show and he's talking to a newer generation of hip hoppers who don't come from that era, that he can bamboozle into believing he was that dude and he was not. How many of you have any of his mixtapes or even knew he was a DJ....... EXACTLY
