If anyone's wondering, Chugga's name in this game was "Nema", Tim's was "Hake", Jon's was "Shiyo" and Stephen's was "Shiwa", which mean "bedroom", "spit out!", "Let's" and "wrinkle" respectively.

Funnily enough. Nema backwards is Amen. Also I actually used Nema as a character name. Also Nema is a anagram for... Name. and... Shiyo is a anagram for Yoshi.
If Tim had the name Shiyo, it would have been very fitting... Though I guess Jon did use Yoshi to defeat the final boss of Super Smash Bros Brawl, so there is some relevance there.
+Big Feared Balloon Well, because of the fact that Japanese is spelled using single-syllable symbols (meaning that every "letter" is a single syllable that ends in a vowel), "nema" is "mane" backwards. And "mane" (pronounced mah-neh) is actually Japanese for "imitation".

This is the magic of pre-recorded videos.
Correction, Emile never said "名前" (name) or "です/だ" at the end (changing "I" to "I am"), so the proper translation would be "Hello, I hello."
Tim is "Hake"
Emile is "Wama"
Jon is "Shiyo"
Stephen is "Shiwa"
You can leave out words if people can understand what you mean. When we were taught how to introduce ourselves in Japanese class, we never said 名前. It was just, 私は(your name here)です. It is very common for words to be left out. You don't have to state everything.
Emile is not Wama, he's Nema. The character used in this name is ね, not わ. The small look at the bottom makes all the difference.
Ijustwatchthevids The same can be said for English, and just like English, omitting certain words in Japanese creates a slightly different meaning. For example, "私は(name)です。" means "I am (name)." whereas "私の名前は(name)です。" means "My name is (name)."
What I was getting at with that is that they used the latter English translation, even though the former Japanese structure was used.
Man, Four Swords Adventures had so much content. Really sucks this mode was stripped from localization.

Game Boss I'm pretty sure it's been stated, several times throughout the course of FSA or at least at the very end of the finale (of which I'm definitely sure), that they'd be covering Tetra Trackers.

Also, a translation for the names they inputted are:

On-command jumping was a thing for 2D games since Link's Awakening but Breath of the Wild was first in the 3D games, yes.

I think the intro would have been. "Konnichiwa, ara wa Runawei Gaizu." Meaning, "Hello, we are Runaway Guys."
This looked really fun! Sorta reminded me of older times, watching my cousins play on their Nintendo 64s- having no clue what they were doing but being wowed by the visuals, bells, and whistles anyway. :)

My headcanon is that Tetra's Trackers takes place in the same universe as the CD-i games.
This game mode is honestly fun! Heck, it’s a lot less complicated than it seems!
I find it interesting to see a japanese exclusive game level in a Zelda game. I really love the voice acting for Tetra. I really like the animation for Tetra. I enjoy watching Tetra talking and hearing her japanese voice. I think she's funny and I find her amusing. I also enjoy watching her facial expressions.

しよ means "to give awards" (賜与) (actually even in Japan, few people know the word...)

the reason we didn't get this mode was because of the voice acting. Due to Tetra saying the name you entered out loud (your name consists of Japanese characters/syllables) and because it's easier to say syllables rather than each and every one of the characters in our alphabet separately, we didn't get this mode.
We could've get this mode on the Wii U, 3DS or even DS if Nintendo did it like this: whatever showed on the GBA screen would show on the bottom screen (or Gamepad), while Tetra would appear on the upper screen (or TV) doing her job, and instead of voice acting, she would communicate with the players getting their attention with sounds and a speech bubble saying what happened, too bad Nintendo didn't take the opportunity to do it, I don't see how it could work on the Switch

This really is such a busy mode. You've got two different tracks playing at once, four different screens to watch, and stuff's constantly being announced on the TV Screen. It's so chaotic, and I love it. Definitely going to have to rewatch this a few times to catch everything going on (at least though the players' placings are shown in the lower left corner). Shame we can't see the other 15 maps and if there's anything different like ice physics or lava, but at least there's this one. See you on Thursday or Monday, depending on whether it's Fortune Street/Mario Party 6 or something else like Dokapon.

Apparently there's "plot" behind this mode (note the word plot in quotation marks).
Tetra wishes to test Link's skill at... things. His competitors all dress up like him so that friends can't assist if they don't know which is the real deal (nevermind that they're all different colored).
