    I would love to see a drone fly and show how the deer move out of an area when a hunter walks into his stand or blind. Like those 4-5 that were in front of the blind.

    This is the second video I've watched today, concerning deer surveys via thermal drones. Bill Winke just had a video put out where he was having the same thing done on his property. I think, that the drones when used for this purpose, or deer recovery, are a wonderful tool.

      Seen you on multiple platforms. I for one like the technology and embrace it. It’s just more knowledge in our favor as hunters..deer will always be a step or two ahead of us.

    • @lineman22
      @lineman22 2 месяца назад

      You are misinformed. He doesn't hate crossbows. He has even said he may even use one later in life if he can't draw a compound. What he has said is that he doesn't agree with the regulations that are in effect with crossbows. They are basically rifles that are able to be used throughout the archery season for perfectly able bodied adults. They should have a limited season just like firearms.

      Thats how you read it in a nut shell basically said it was the end of trophy bucks no mention of shot guns or rifles or wolves just Crossbows 😂😂

      @@Huntoutdoors1 please explain your view about how his hunting goals of hunting mature bucks in any way affects other hunters? How would he not be for the average hunter when he puts his hunting experience, tactics, and advice out there for free on a podcast weekly? He even let's them mail in their questions and sends them a free t-shirt. That's not selfish at all in my book.

      @@Huntoutdoors1agreed they get rich advertising monster deer so when the trophy numbers are down they throw fits

    • @lineman22
      @lineman22 2 месяца назад

      @@Huntoutdoors1 There is all kinds of limits in place for just about everything we do. Limiting the season for crossbows is no different than limiting the season for firearms. He is more concerned for the overall health of the deer herd than his own benefits. That's what sets responsible hunters like him apart from all the kill mongers who live by the "if it's brown, it's down" motto. I'm assuming you would be in that group? Am I correct? Or do you not want to see the health of the herd improve to what it once was so that the tradition can be passed on to our next generations of hunters? Crossbows are closer to a firearm than traditional archery gear and should be regulated that way. He's not said to outlaw them. Just put them in the category that they should be for the benefit of the herd. The corrupt people in the statehouse or the insurance lobbyists are the ones that aren't looking out for the deer population and only interested in what benefits them at all costs.
