This is my tribute arrangement to Shirley Walker.
Her Mask of The Phantasm Theme is criminally underrated, so I combined her Batman Theme with the new Batman Theme!

Fun fact: In the movie Batman mask of the phantasm Warner Bros. Studios refuse to credit the singers of the chorus to the intro but the composer being very clever actually compose the intro by having all the people singing in the chorus sing their names in Latin thus, they’re actually getting credit listening to this right now!
You can clearly hear them say "Mot" at one point lol. Glad Tom got some recognition.

Fun Fact: In the original score by Shirley Walker the chorus isn't chanting any Latin. They chant the backwards names of the people who helped make the movie, but for one reason or another couldn’t appear in the credits of the film.

The lyrics were the names of the chorus themselves backwards. They weren't going to have their names in the credits so Shirley Walker included their names in a clever way. Reminds me of the first Easter egg in videogame history.

I am from Russia and due to the actions of the president of my country, whom I did not choose, I don't have the opportunity to watch this film in the cinema. Thank you Samuel for giving me the opportunity to feel this masterpiece. Fear may be a tool in the movies, but not in real life.

It was an incredibly heavy inspiration, the music in the Animated Series was made by the same guy who did Micheal Keatons movies

This should seriously be the theme for The Batman 2. The theme from the first film is simple, but works for how they utilize it in scenes. This however just adds so much extra punch. Great work!

Finally there's a live-action Batman that could finally match with Mask of The Phantasm in terms of exploring the psychology
It’s funny even though he’s the protagonist, this version of Batman really captures what made great villains like Darth Vader so intimidating and fun to watch. No nonsense, just gets straight down to beating the shit out of you and accomplishing his objective, yet also wants you to know he’s coming. The sound of Batman’s footsteps in this movie gave me the same chills as hearing Darth Vader’s breathing in Rogue One and Rebels. I knew it was coming, I was rooting for it coming, and yet the sheer amount of hype and intimidation I felt when I heard it was still through the roof.
I think the ending of the Phantasm vs Joker ost is the greatest piece of batman music ever, of not cinematic generally. Love how you combined birth of the batman and the gotham overture.

I always felt Shirley Walker’s score for Phantasm was almost haunting. It truly highlighted the pain and tragedy of the story for me.
Came here after Conroy's death, it's both sad but empowering hearing this theme after his passing, may the Legacy of The Batman live on

With the theme of The Batman, you really can feel all the Rage, Anger and thirst for Vengeance within Batman's mind. Whereas themes of other Batman movies never captured the true essence of his anger.

The entire score for that film, especially the opening is criminally underrated, and I still say the best overall Batman movie. And while I haven't seen the full new movie - I'm disappointed that it seems like still - Michael Keaton is the closest we get in live action to the perfect Batman and Bruce Wayne with Ben Affleck a close second. Kilmer is too serious, Clooney was too goofy, Bale was an improvement but still a bit too serious and never really gave off the 'eccentric' vibes Keaton's did, Affleck's was more an improvement on Bale's and the scene's I've seen of this one - he just seems more overly broody - and is not wearing the Bruce Wayne mask.
Nut I think we could use a little more Mask of the Phantasm versions.
He is supposed to be emo and broody because he is still in quite early stages of being the batman and still not over the death of his parents. I hope you watch the entire movie...you wouldn't be disappointed.
Trust me ive watched the film and this one is perfect in the context of the film, im sure we will see him master the fake persona bruce wayne side of himself as the films go on and it sure seems its heading that way
