I agree. It looks like it perfectly captures the feel of 1980s police thrillers set in cities like LA and NYC. Let's just hope this comes out long before GTA6 because no game will be able to compete with that when it launches.

It would be nice to stylize the lighting or add a little noise so it doesn’t look so flat. And it’s even better to make it look like everything was shot through an anamorphic lens with glare.

I remember playing GTA4 LCPDFR. I like how indie devs are taking small ideas/mods implemented in previous titles and turning it into a full gameplay experience.
Looks great. I just hope they turn down the steering sensitivity so the car doesn't shift side to side so quickly. It looks very arcady which doesn't seem to suit the style of the game.
They devs have confirmed that you can commandeer vehicles. I'm not sure exactly how it will work, but it is in the game. They've also said that the character places a siren on top of the car's roof automatically when they get in which is also a cool little touch!

The devs have said that a lot of what is shown here isn't optimised. It will be more stable at release.

Game looks great, almost like a 70's retro 3D remake of the original NARC arcade game.
I hope you can remove lots of the HUD. Like the health bars above the suspects. It would take more effort to tell the innocent from the rule breakers
