I’m making this sloth with the string of pearls. Very clever how you did all the facial features. So much easier your way than I’ve seen others do. I’ve enjoyed your patterns and tutorials. Thanks for taking the time.
I’ve been looking for this Sloth plant hanging pattern and going to make this for my daughter to hang in her office within her enlistment, U.S.Air Force. She’s going to love it! Thank you for your tutorial and was easy to follow and understand too. It was not too fast either like other tutorials. Yours was clear and precise. 👁❤️🧶
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, 💕😊. It makes me really happy to hear that you are making this for your daughter, I am sure she will love it, no gift can be more special than a handmade one made by family. ❤️
Enjoyed your sloth pattern but you should tell how many stitches are at the end of each round. It would also help if you told what rounds you should attach parts to. I am an experienced crocheted and I did make the hanger but figured it out by trial and error. I love the sloth!
The name of the yarn brand is Premier - Just cotton, I am not sure what the color is named in the yarn but I think it is called slate grey in general . You could search similar ones.
I too love them. Yes you can make it using acrylic, but it might turn out to be sloppy and not firm if the stitches are not tight enough. Why don’t you try out just a part of it and see if it works.

Do you count the chain three as a double crochet?
Wow you crochet SO tight!
Could you share the yarn details (brand and specific color?). I love this pattern and would love to use similar colors :)

I love sloths! I want to try and make this. Can you use acrylic yarn instead of cotton?
