Snyper here. 15 years later still the best DDR freestyle of it's era. SPF5 was a bunch of trolls and we showed them what more than 5 minutes of practice in the parking lot looks like. We were also 16-19 years old at the time and hadn't touched drugs or alcohol, yet. We won this tournament with pride and donated the proceeds to the children's hospital. To this day I haven't found another scene that provided so much enjoyment and enabled me to meet so many people. 35 years old now. These were the days. Big ups to everyone from this era.
ahhh memories! the first real DDR tournament i've ever competed in. i'm the guy in the blue jacket in that audience, and i came in waaay after those guys. this was one of my favorite group freestyles ever. thanks for the upload!
the other two guys dancing on the side were completely unneccessary--it just looked dumb. the routine was sweet/gimmicky enough as it is, those other guys just detracted from it.
