Ugh this is so sad.. loosing your baby, being accused and wrongfully charged with murdering your baby and having to mourn in prison omg she’s such a strong soul

That is so so sad and I don't think the guards or other inmates msde it better either
Yea 😔

You know what’s sad - an 8 year old is able to have more common sense than our conviction system

Casey Anthony is free even though - AT BEST - she didn’t report her baby missing for a month.
Shawna Wirl it’s mind blowing honestly.
Amen! Bullshit.
I'm not saying shes innocent but if you watch the trial.. The prosecution fucked up and were celebrating before the verdict so to speak
Shawna Wirl Bc shes WHITE
Cause she was white
It's actually scary that this could happen to anybody at any time.
I'm glad to live in Germany because what I heard about laws, lawyers and cops in the USA is just awful.

Kid Gamer bye you don’t know anything abt how corrupt the system is based on our race, gender, sexuality, religion and etc.
Not really anyone just black and brown people
Gameboy9917 The fact that you can watch this video and still comment something like that is so gross
So she had a kid at 16/17, he lived for 9 months, he died, and she was accused for his death. Just awful.
She was a minor, but not necessarily a kid....
Lil.HoneyyBby I’m aware of that 😂
Abigail Fountain she technically is, but it should have been listed as a crime of passion and acquitted Immediately
Abigail F. The thing is was it legal for her to be impregnated at about 16
@@woowoo3147 getting pregnant at 17 is only a year before 18 you think that's bad enough to get killed for?

Shelby Machado I was thinking the same thing and how poor her mental health must have been at that time, especially being so young when it happened. What a strong woman. This video made me cry a bathtub.
Madyson • me too!

Me too. Its heavy but may be necessary for them to know

Just don’t say anything at all-
The little boy who said they should have checked the medical record. If that wasn't scripted, he is very smart. I'm not sure how old I was when I learned that was a thing, but it sure wasn't 8. I think it might have been 12 or 13.
Not exactly with the internet information is easier to obtain and back then they weren't deciding whether she killed her child or not, they had already made up their minds due to race
That didn't seem script it was spontaneous a response to her mentioning all those conditions her son had. Kids these days are so much smarter than us for sure
I was literally facepalming at the judge and jury. I, a 10 year old girl, would probably make a better judge than them.
@@lombebwalya1265 Exactly! Kids know everything from TV and internet so young. I always said that at age 6 I didn't know what a uterus WAS and my niece knows a baby grows there!

I like how she talks to the kids like they’re adults and how soft/well spoken she is. God Bless you Sabrina
*Yep*
That's the only way to talk to kids about serious topics.
Her voice toward the end sounds so broken and I want to cry for her. She didn’t deserve this no one does.
@@kin2e304 Agreed. I have always been opposed to the death penalty, seeing it more about revenge than anything else. When you consider that this woman might have been executed based on false evidence and a biased jury it just makes me feel even more that the death penalty is wrong and should be continued. Any state that kills its own people does not deserve the right to call itself civilised.
There is no god.
She has such a calm voice to listen to and the way she explained it to the children was the perfect mix of friendly, and serious. She seems like such a wise woman.
Lily Knox exactly the way she speaks is so sweet and calls them sweetie and everything ♥️
Lily Knox She is an amazing woman - I was bawling when my son & her were talking. Got lots of hugs!!
ARMMMYYYYYY
Lily Knox yea you are right also are u army
I AM YOUR 1,300 LIKER YAYAYAY
I can’t imagine how she must have felt. She lost a child and then to be accused of killing her own 9 month old. And at 17 years old and the fact it’s a racially charged crime must have just made it so frustrating
She gave birth at 16/17, then her child died before her eyes. After that, she gets accused of murdering her beloved son and gets sent to jail. No funeral, no person to talk to, not even freedom. Also, she has the fact in the back of her mind that she will die here, killed by the biased and racist judges. Finding out she was exonerated must have been the most relief she's ever felt. I hope that judge rots in hell.
“Innocent until proven guilty”
What happened to that?
EXACTLY THANK YOU
She signed a statementent she shouldn’t have signed but she didn’t know, she was 17 ans , her son just died :(, it’s terrible
bc racism :/
its really guilty until proven innocent
@Greta Wilson right thats what im saying
17??? They convicted her and put her on death row at 17???? How incredibly awful. She was barely more than a child herself :(
sure was plus she was a "MINOR" you cant be charged and put on felony list until the age of 18 ... glad shes out!
That’s probably why she neglected her son and he died
Macaela Tice-Loma yeah you can. Usually you aren’t tried as an adult when you’re a minor but it does happen.
S S she never neglected her son!!she was trying to help her son !!!
S S i was gonna ask what source you have for accusations of neglect- and then I saw you’re name is literally S S.
SHUT YER FACEHOLE DUDE
I was only in jail for a MONTH and felt completely broken and hopeless. It changes you. She went for over 6 years, plus grieving the death of her child, plus dealing with racism. Kudos to this woman for NEVER giving up, what a true inspiration. Must have been incredibly difficult to hold that hope for so many years but she did it.
Alexis McDawson I don’t mean to be rude but I’m very curious as to why u went to jail. So if u don’t mind could u say?
yes, why were you convicted, or imprisoned? you are not obligated to say. i do not want to force you.
I’m a bit confused tho so they threw her in prison for 6 years then decided she should get a penalty after that time? Wat
@@DeeznutztheOG it takes a while to look over cases and decide things

I feel like “the right to remain silent” is too vague for people
That's why after they say that, they say "anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law"
It’s not remotely confusing. This is the first time I’ve ever heard an adult not understand.
Bread996 lol I’m literally 16 I’m not American and I can’t remember writing this comment

I hate when there's actual evidence that a person murdered someone but they don't put them in jail and cases like this they have no evidence yet still putting innocent people in jail
a girl with dreams for example O.J Simpson.
Sique_OG its all because of the jury. The jury says the verdict, i think, the final decision whether guilty or not. The OJ simpson trials jury had all blacks which back then, got OJ to have a greater chance of being innocent because of his race and popularity. Obviously there was sooooo much evidence that hes guilty but the jury doubted it and its incredibly hard for the victims and family member to take it. Lol idk why i wrote this but i watched ACS and its amazing
Sique_OG Oj simpson was guilty, but they didn’t convict him of the crime because there were many contradictions that only pointed to a second person committing the crime with him, so they could not convict him
Yeah it's so fucked up. I admit that some cases probably are pretty hard, but come on. This one really was a no brainer. And even if a person did something like this, they wouldn't deserve death.

The death penalty alone is completely inhumane and it is insane that some people think that is right.
IKR, people think, "oh you killed that person, now im gonna turn around and do the same to you." like that makes u both in the wrong
So people like Ted Bundy should have been left to live? I’m honestly not sure where I stand on the death penalty because they’re are people who deserve it, people who are innocent or something inbetween (as in they did the crime but they don’t deserve to die)

Can we please just think about this for a second.
Her already sick child stopped breathing. AS A MINOR, she did what she knew - following the instruction of someone else. She performed CPR in desperation to save her baby not knowing that she was performing the wrong CPR. Then after an unjust trial, she spent 6 and a half years in prison just to be released and treated like any other ex felon until 2012.
Like I'm honestly confused how any prosecutor would have the heart to bring Sabrina to court and watch her get sent to prison. It really makes you wonder what's wrong with the American Justice System. They let OJ Simpson walk free and put people like Sabrina on Death Row.
It's awful. I can't imagine the pain she experienced during those years. 💔

its very scary
It is a very messed up system. Can barely even call it a system because it is not regulated whatsover. All about politics and who the lawyers want on the jury to make their own case better.
It isn't as bad as these people are saying. These people probably don't know anything.
I don't know WHO she spoke to on the phone for help, but i really really really hope that it wasn't a 911 operator. they should know the difference between adult and pediatric cpr
If anything I want THEM to be at fault for her son's death. Not her, because that was the fault of someone who was supposed to have thr knowledge.
*paediatric
It probably was a 911 operator... the amount of cases that get mishandled because of bad 911 service makes me sick. Specially because most could’ve ended with better results if they did their job right... clearly not everyone is mean to help people like that
In a interview she said she rushes to her neighboor who couldn't help her, so she ran downstairs and the girl there helped her
BUFF ASH it’s spelled pediatric in america
Truly amazing how she is able to talk about everything she went through with such composure. Such a strong woman. Hopefully times have changed and continue to improve so innocent people don't get punished.
I can’t imagine all the hardship that she went through
Literally heartbroken for this gentle soul. So glad she was exonerated.
That small black boy is so cute. I CAN’T.

Wow, this had me in tears. What a wonderful brave woman you are Sabrina. Bless you. Your baby died and instead of compassion and love, you received hate. That just broke my heart.

she deserves a movie
I found this comment online, from this women called Stephanie and I really wanted to share this:
Stephanie:
I find that many people claiming to be Christians are ok with the death penalty. I ask them about people who have been falsely convicted? They often say “That doesn’t really happen”. I respond “Sure it does. You know who the most famous innocent person killed by the death penalty is”? “Who”? “Jesus....and you would have been at the base of the cross yelling “Crucify him”. They look at me stunned. Often they reach up and gently grasp the cross on their necklace.
Thanks for sharing. I can't believe people could think that doesn't happen.
Ya same!!
I’m Christian and i do not believe in death penalty at all‼️
@@evieg7369 "Very clearly guilty" is something that rarely happens (if ever). Defendants, witnesses, police, attorneys, etc. can all lie, so it's basically impossible to be 100% sure. Death is the ultimate sentence and justice is a subjective concept, so I don't think the first can ever guarantee the latter.
@@evieg7369 Also, even if Jesus had to die for a prophecy to be fulfilled, it doesn't mean that the people involved in killing weren't being unfair with him. The purpose of that injustice to happen was that we didn't do the same unto other people. "Whoever is free of sin, cast the first stone".
This was so interesting. I really like how this series sheds light on "taboo" issues and brings it to children in an appropriate way. (Thanks for so many likes! I never get any lol so this is exciting)
Yeah, that's true for most of the episodes they've made (apart from the abortion video).
S. Tagerius where is that video ? Don’t recall seeing it and i can’t find it
@@kelsmarie44 They took it down, presumably due to the backlash it received.
Exactly my thoughts. I teach kids rock climbing. I'm no pro by any means but I can get interested kids up the wall, the appropriate, safe way, even some of the most reluctant ones. I have no children of my own, I don't have an education in child rearing in any form, much less in paedagogics. I watch these videos because it shows how to address certain "taboo" issues in an appropriate way and let me tell you, the kids in my class discuss some heavy stuff sometimes.
@@misscinnabun79 thats really cool, I wanna do rock climbing professionally one day, but I get too scared going 10 metres up let alone any higher 😂 I think its good to address taboo issues that may not be that taboo to begin with
I’m amazed at this woman’s strength and that she was able to talk about it! I inspire her so much! ❤️
This is so hard to watch....i mean just listening to her story is making me cry ..i really dont know how it would feel to be in Sabrina's shoes...Im really sorry..our world is a cruel place
I keep just shaking my head at everything this woman had to go through... The American justice system is so broken...
Hats off to HiHo and the kids' parents for allowing them to learn from all kinds of people from all kinds of situations.
Sorry to say but the justice system isn't broken, it's doing what it was designed to do. The incarceration of poor and marginalized people is the foundation of the prison system
Pozdrowienia z Warszawy....
Araani M it is broken. We are no longer innocent until proven guilty. We are guilty until proven innocent.
There is no perfect system-- im not saying what happened is right, infact, its trully awful what happened to her and I can't imagine what she went through. However, this is not mean that the entire system needs to be abolished... just reformed.
the vegetarians better not get themselves into trouble

What an incredibly strong woman. Mad respect Sabrina.
Thank you to sabrina for sharing her story and thank you for the kids for give me some insight by the questions they asked.
