Just checked SSH's website, this is a completely original track. It's not an arrange of any song in the game. In his readme file for the song he addresses himself as the author of the song (when it's an arrange, he puts the name of the original composer). Still an awesome song though.
For added context, 8 years later, the song's name is F+toG. It's barely a title and just references the song's key change, starting in F# and changing to G later in the song. So the verbal title would be "F Sharp to G." This song was released on his site in early 2012, probably not long before this video went up. And that was very close to the English release of Tales of Graces F, which is probably a source of the confusion. Also, the song was remastered on his album Four Seam, but is still kind of title-less and is still called F+TOG.
***** I THINK it's Ghardia Shaft. It has the same beat, but it's hidden by the awesome instruments. Ghardia had even more techno, but this rocks out so much it's hard to notice the source song. I can hear a BIIIIIT, and I mean a VERY small bit of Fodra in it, but it's the bit before the song loops.
out of curiosity, what were you most disappointed with in ToS2? I didnt like it nearly as much as the first either, though I found my biggest problem with it was that there were really only consistently two playable characters and the rest were totally not pokemon until you were lucky enough to get another of the original team in your roster lol
yeah Repear tales games are fantastic! I find the battle system and the characters themselves to be much more engaging and endearing than most jrpgs, including final fantasy. If you get around to playing any of them, I hope you enjoy!
this was one of the most challenging tales games i have ever played on evil and chaos mode which also made it my second fav tales game ive ever played :D now xillia
Here's a list for you: 1. Characters from TOS were levelcapped at 50 2. Couldn't reequip TOS characters 3. NO FIELD! 4. Boss was easily soloable on hardest difficulty 5. The main character from TOS becomes playable at the end on capped level. Overall the game was jut too easy. It could also be that my expections for Tales of... games are EXTREMELY high. Mostly because the better ones (TOS, TOTA, TOV, TOD(1/2/DC)) were my first.
Except TOS2, which is what he was talking about. In TOS2 only the two main characters could be leveled up to 200. The rest was caped to 50 and you can't customize them in any ways. It felt like a rush spinoff instead of a true sequel like TOD2 was.
My fav will always be Symphonia. I hated the fact they fucked Sym2 up so bad... probably the only "bad" Tales of .... ever to come out. Also Vesperia was quite enjoyable as well!
***** for SOME "Reason", I hear the final boss part 1 "Reason" from Narikiri DungeonX, which could make sense to this music since Asbel IS there as a cameo costume, but its weird anyhow,

Niconico Seri this sounds nothing like any of the ToG songs, no need to check the website lmao
Do you know the name of the song?

Who's here after the remake announcement?
Here
Please tell me I'm not the only one that wants to hear S.S.H cover ToV's Fury Sparks.
THIS => into my PVP playlist NOW!
I totally don't know which theme this remix represent but I freaking love this remix XD
I third
I think its supposed to be a remix of the first battle theme or maybe the ghardia shaft one but it doesn't really sound like them though.

+BigBossSteve007 It's an original song, it's not from Tales of Graces. The name is F+ToG, it's a huge coincidence, but it's an original song by SSH.
+Seri Niconico I see, I have finished the main arc and far in the extra arc after the game and never heard a battle theme close to it.

ZOMG. Saitama Saisyu Heiki doing Graces?! Awesome.
unbelievable this theme! Just awesome, whaouh!

Love the music!
Anybody ever heard of I Wanna Be The Rockman? One of the areas in that game has a Genesis-style remix of this song!
This sounds like Megaman X 2 music. KICKASS!!
Demon Putty I THOUGHT THE SAME THING. This track is sick and I love it.
Thank you for explaining that for me , and it actually is a rush spinoff sequel. It isn't counted among the mothership titles. ;)
Thank you sooo much for making this :,)

This is an original song. Not from Tales Of Graces.
Heat!
Gusta, this is awesome :o

I started the game yesterday the game is fucking awesome!
You should is a very good game and my first tales of game played.
I don't recognize this battle theme, I think it's been remixed a little much.
Is it the one that plays in L&L?
Which battle theme is this a remix of?
Which battle theme is this anyways?
To be honest I don't know. But I don't mind because it's awesome =)
this slaps
Why would he remove his comment after getting a good reply? Now I want to know what it said :
does SSH have a yt channel?
Best JRPG Saga...
So Far out of Sym, Sym 2, Abyss, La, Graces and World I'd say Abyss is my favorite.
Tales of Graces F is the best jrpg that I have ever played. The Characters, story, music, battle system, animation, hype, it has it all!!!
This isn't a battle theme from Graces f ...
Is this music free?
nice
Awesome I love it :)
Awesome Bullshit 0o
My fav will always be Symphonia. I hated the fact they fucked Sym2 up so bad... probably the only "bad" Tales of .... ever to come out. Also Vesperia was quite enjoyable as well!
What is s.s.h.?
Look in the description :)
This is not Sword-Drawing!Grind! nor Impatient Sword, I think it may be Risk Everything, or better, a medley of the three : 3
***** for SOME "Reason", I hear the final boss part 1 "Reason" from Narikiri DungeonX, which could make sense to this music since Asbel IS there as a cameo costume, but its weird anyhow,
then Bro you are missing out.
dAT BASS
Why couldnt they use this as the battle theme :( All of the other ones are terrible sans the theme on Fodria.
