One interesting thing that Oversimplified didn't cover is that the English language still has some influence from the Vikings too. For example, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are all named after Norse gods. Tuesday is named after Tyr, Wednesday after Odin, Thursday after Thor, and Friday after Frigga.
the viking men were strangely seen as better by the saxon women. they bathed a whopping once a week (way more often than saxon men) and norse culture gave more freedom to women than the christian culture at the time (meaning the norse men treated their women better) not to mention that they were taller (by about 6 inches) and did a lot more personal grooming. but then the christians in Germany enforced a trade embargo forcing Halrald I of Denmark to convert the Danes or face economic collapse. on that note i highly recommend the series on the vikings by extracredits for you to react to, certainly worth a watch
All of what you have said about Saxon women and Viking men where did you get the info because its bullshit and not true no one knew how often exactly people bathed also Viking men were not taller on average they were the same average height as the Saxons and other northern Europeans you know you can research the bull you get fed (note the theory on Viking bathing and grooming is generally presumed due to finds of beard and hair combs which you also happen to find in the rest of Europe as well people of the middle ages bathed and groomed more often than most people think)
Bullshit.. Dutch and Danish people are the tallest in the world. Anglo-Saxons are Dutch and Danish people 1500 years ago. They are literally the cousins of northern Vikings. Norse were Vikings version 1.0 Anglo-Saxons were Vikings version 2.0. Better educated by Roman philosophy and more civilized. Normans were Vikings Version 3.0. Completely immersed in Roman culture and education... With the Viking fighting spirit.
Hey Fam!!! Sorry about the landscapers. I was extremely annoyed. 😒
@Steven Godinez gardners, yard decorators...
Having to learn about this in school. It was actually a lot of fun :D, the Battle of Hastings was one of my favourite topics

John Snow was the bastard in Game of Thrones.
Jon Snow is who you are thinking of. Bastard of the Starks
You might be reminded of Game of Thrones because it's based on English history
So, if it wasn't for the Normans we would be eating a cow-burger instead of a beef-burger
🤣🤣
All swear words came from Anglo Saxon.
Do you use a screen recorder or do you download the video and edit it in ?
And if do you a screen recorder, what's the name of the software ?
Hey @Ashley's Review Where you're from? I'm curious where your history knowledge base is from

This is story for Age of Empires 4.
The Yanks changed the language without a war!
@Penri Oh, you'd have to master the language first, but you'll all be speaking Chinese in a few years anyway,
I want Andrew Yang
Simplified??? I’d hate to hear the whole story!
