Thanks for the info I like when fisherman like you give info for other people to go out n fish you have a new subscribe here. Thank S again for the info
On top right there is a kayak launch that open to Lake Como, you can wade there. If I remember right that should be hard sand. Flounder can be pick up around the channel between the marsh island on moving tide. You can also walk on bank and fish at the other yak launch on the left. Look on google map, you should get an idea where you want to try. I will caution you that there are lot of stingray there, so please wear some protections or shuffle your feet’s. Good luck
I don’t own a kayak but I do own a small pontoon boat. Since you are familiar with this area (state park ) how do you think it will do with a 50 lb trolling motor. So is there a yak Launch in the park.
There is several yak launch within the park. 50lb is more than enough but I’m unfamiliar with your pontoon so I don’t really know. I know a 30lb push a 12ft jon boat pretty well. The location is well protected so I think you should be ok. Good luck!
tellrich29 yes that is definitely more than enough as long as you’re comfortable with launching that from a yak launch. Most of the spot will require you to drag it a few yards to water. I recommend you launch from waterman restaurants and head over to the park via that route. It’s a boat ramp so it’s easier for your type of boat.
Diana Duenes it’s an easy paddle from the park and that area offer great protection. As the wind start to come from the southeast more often later in the years, I’ll likely be back there again.
Yes it’s unfortunate that this happened but I really don’t blame them. I see lot of people not respecting the property out there with all the trash they leave behind. The wonderful thing with a kayak is you can launch anywhere you can park. Tight line!
I don't have a kayak but still enjoy your video
Thank man, you can still get out there on foot to some spot!
Thanks for sharing!!

Hey appreciate your video! Israel told me about you! God bless you 🙏
Thank for the subs David! More to come!
Good job. Enjoyed your video.
Subbed man, keep the vids, up. I only kayak once a month if that. Nice to see new comers.
Thank man, I got some more coming soon. I only get to yak twice a month if I’m lucky so I make the best of what I have.
I'm no kayaker myself but if and when I go there to Galveston Island Park, can you tell where there are good spots for wading? Thank you.

It’s one of bass pro shops earlier models called a pontoon prowler. Very similar to a pelican bass raider.

Is there parking spots and a place to launch the kayak?
Place to launch is in my video. Enjoy
Been there last year n I love that place planning on going back in November there about 3 kayak launch.

Bummer Jamaica is now private. Pirate is installing a gate and 8 mile is fenced off. Running out of launch spots

Where is Pirate installing a gate? I launched at Waterman's boat ramp and paddling to Pirate cove was simple....
@@txaquatics3065 try the state park marsh on the left, lot of activities there in the summer.
There are a lot of sting ray in that area.
