Impressionante é que quando estou desanimada para estudar inglês, é só abrir um vídeo da Carina que a vontade vem à tona. Obrigada Carina por tamanho amor pelo que vc faz, penso que isso te diferencia por completo! bjs
se eu não aprender inglês com seu canal, eu me jogo do telhado aprender inglês é meu sonho, porem não tenho dinheiro, agora vou dar meu sangue nos seus videos, e os likes também.......... Ilove your.
In my honest opinion, Carina's English In Brazil is one of the MOST English learning channel! Someone who needs to learn English should give it a try! I strongly recommend it! Everyone MUST watch it!
I couldn't agree more about using English words in Portuguese. I use English words in my daily life basis. I'm an English teacher but at the same time there aren't many opportunities to practice my speaking besides in classes. As I haven't taught many intermediate+ classes I don't have just a few speaking partners or friends who speaks English. That's why I have to create new opportunities to use my English speaking skills. Normally I use: anyway, whatever, by the way, and sometimes I use terms which don't have a good match in Portuguese. Thanks for this video! Awesome as always!
My opinion is... Of course we have an influence from English language and that's not bad, actually for me it's an awesome thing. What we should remember is that our culture which is our language , behaviors , traditions etc must be something extremely highlighted as it was o process of many years and represents a lot for us
Salvo os áudios no pendrive e vou ouvindo todo dia a caminho do trabalho. Fico entusiasmada quando aprendo algo novo. Gosto muito do seu trabalho teacher. Você é 10!!!!!
In my opinion i love to learn new expressions in English i have met many natives another countries and they want to learn about my language I really i think interesting this fantastic
I agree, but i think is really important we know about the meaning of the words because we usually don't know the meaning and use this words in wrong situations or contexts. Adoro seus vídeos Carina, você sempre trás assuntos legais e interessantes!! Parabéns 👏👏👏 e obrigada 😘
And I'm completely crazy about English language and Portuguese too. The different pronounces about same language are incredible for me, in my honest opinion.
Oi Carina, me escrevi no canal recentemente, o conteúdo é mtooo bom! Parabéns! Qdo tiver tempo, faz um vídeo sobre a diferença em pronúncia das palavras “hi-high, hole-whole, hour-our, I-eye, knew-new, knot-not, made-mais, meet-meat, pair-peer, peak-peek, where-wear.....” obg :)
Aqui estão! ❤💙 I like ... I really like .. I love .. I'm crazy about .. My favorite is .. I don't like ... I hate ... I highly recommended ... You have to ... You must ... If I was you ... I think ... I believe ... In my opinion... I really think .. I strongly believe ... In my honest opinion ... From my point of view ... From my perspective ... In my view ... It seems to me that .. What do you think about it?... What's your opinion? ... What are your thoughts on that? ... How dou you feel about it? I agree ... I couldn't agree more ... absolutely ... definitely ... I disagree ... Yeah, but, you know... I'm not sure I agree ... I'm afraid I disagree ... I see where you're coming from but ...
Oi Carina!
Well, i believe that this could work in everywhere, cuz, there's some feelings that we want to explain but, for lack of words, we use some that we were know on our native language. So, i think that's very valid.
In my view, Portuguese sufferd a expressive influence from English, and there are many useful words that don't have translation in Portuguese. So in this case, I think the influence of English in Portuguese important.
I agree with this use, because sometimes it's not possible translate English words to Portuguese and keep their whole meaning. Because of this, the use of English words can sometimes express an idea better than a Portuguese term. (I hope i have written this phrase correctly)
In my opinion it's common and normal to use these words nowadays because of the globalization. We can't avoid it. Foreignness is inevitable!!! Some linguists disagree , but I don't care about it....I love English,, particularly, and these uses are normal, in my point of view. I am living in Toronto now, so...I really like English....and speak every time I need it....at work, at stores and even with the crossing guys (they are like policemen but are on the streets or dangerous intersections to help people and mainly kids to cross them) . So, English is amazing and now I wanna learn French because here it's the second native language! ( Everything has English and French written.....goods, food etc.)
Uma dúvida por favor: Quando uso a construção "What are your thoughts", eu tenho que usar o "on" sempre depois? Ou posso usar "about" por exemplo? Tipo "What are your thoughts about that"? Thanks in advance
I agree! Because these words come the English language more near for the people of this country and help so many people with the pronouce. (Se tiver alguma coisa errada me corrijam hehe)
From my perspective it's not a problem, I like this mix between Portuguese and English there are a lot of words that if we translate they would lose their meanings and I really like when I'm speaking with an American and they say some Brazilian expression
I believe that using English words to express something in Portuguese It’s Ok. I know that many people think that when we do that, we are, actually, devaluing our native language, but I don’t see it as a problem if we just use the English words to say something, a verb, for example, we don’t have in the Portuguese language. For example: to link: “linkar”.
Great video (como sempre)!! Kkk and about the topic that you talked at the end of the video, in my opinion I think desnecessary, in some cases..for example, lately we're seeing a lot the word "Skincare" in Portuguese, which means "Cuidados com a pele"..but I'm thinking, why don't it use just "Cuidados com a pele" instead of "Skincare"? Sure that nothing wrong in to use that word but sometimes, we could simply use words of our Portuguese, without a lot of "estrangeirismos" kkkk I love your videos and your baby is veeeeery cute 😙😙
Hi Carina, first off all, is my first interaction with this channel, but I ever been watched you since 2018. Thank you so much! Abou the using of foreign words in Portuguese, at the beginning, I really dislike, but when I started to learn English I started to understand why Brazilians usually use English words in your speeches. Some words don't have a literal meaning in Portuguese and discribles many situations better than Portuguese words. Flavor, for example. It doesn't exist in Portuguese, meaning about taste and smells of something. So, nowadays, I agree, but don't like when someone use English words in Portuguese.
Carina posso dar uma sugestão, ou caso ja tiver esse video sinaliza pra mim. Para a serie Survivor faz um video de como fazer uma entrevista de trabalho 🙏🏻 se ja tiver me sinaliza por favor
Sempre a grande pequena Carina (ou seria a pequena grande?). Algo que sempre me chama atenção ao assistir algo em inglês e ouvir "absolutely", é que para nós tem justamente o significado contrário. Um beijo e até mais!
That's a good question! In my opinion we should keep using Portuguese words, I feel disappointed when a see "design" instead of our Portuguese word in some contexts. The only reason for use English words are for those new words created by new technologies, like Bluetooth, wifi, internet and so on.

I think using English words in Portuguese is normally, because we living in global civilization and this practice is very common after all the english is the language more speake in the world
In my view, the use of English words in Portuguese can be a way to try to be as close as American natives, which sometimes is good, but for some people it seems a little strange, this mix of two completely different languages...
Impressionante é que quando estou desanimada para estudar inglês, é só abrir um vídeo da Carina que a vontade vem à tona. Obrigada Carina por tamanho amor pelo que vc faz, penso que isso te diferencia por completo! bjs

I think that is very good and natural
I think the use of English words on Portuguese is something nice
Gente, ele fala tão claro ou foi a impressão minha? Eu entendi exatamente tudo, como se eu nem pensasse naquilo que ele estava falando "rápido"
Tb senti isso. Quem dera todos falassem com a clareza dele kkkk
Uma dúvida por favor: Quando uso a construção "What are your thoughts", eu tenho que usar o "on" sempre depois? Ou posso usar "about" por exemplo? Tipo "What are your thoughts about that"? Thanks in advance
From my point of view the use the english words on Portuguese is very important for the learning the English language.
Essa e a minha resposta em relação a pergunta do fim do video se tiverem duvida
agora deu certo............foi ótimo
I think that's ok and produtive!
Ameeeii!!!👏👏👏👏👏.
From my point of view it's absolutely natural, because in Portuguese we don't have words to speak somethings how, for example, the word "home office"
I really like to use english words in portuguese. Not just emglish words, but also another countrys. O love to learn about.
With english words i use to record my videos to program Inglês que usamos no dia a dia that i post on my channel on RUclips.
Every Sunday i post.
I agree! Because these words come the English language more near for the people of this country and help so many people with the pronouce.
(Se tiver alguma coisa errada me corrijam hehe)
Meu sonho conseguir pagar o cambly... Aprender inglês com os nativos deve ser experiência única.
