1. Where is Elza from?
She's from Alegrete, but has been living in Porto Alegre since 1997
2. How did she learn English?
She’s learned it by herself, when she was a teenager. Her mother used to teacher her English when she was a child.
3. Why was she confused?
She didn’t know grammar terms like “subject" and “object".
4. What’s Elza’s opinion on the fact that not many Brazilians are fluent in English?
Traditional schools teach in a way that takes a long time and Brazilians don’t use the internet no learn. Studying twice a week is not enough.
5. How did Carina learn English?
She started through songs, then she studied Letras at the University.
6. How did she start her work on the internet?
It was tough. She was nervous and shy. Her first video reached 1.000 views in 24 hours.
7. Why was Carina surprised?
Because Elza reached 18.000 followers on TikTok in only two weeks. In two months, they reached 100.000 followers. In 90 days, she reached 300.00 followers.
8. Why did Elza have butterflies in her stomach?
Because she met Carina.
9. What does Elza love about teaching on the internet?
You meet people from many different places. She doesn’t like the way some people treat teachers as objects.
10. What does Carina hate about working on the internet?
Language gurus saying you’re going to be fluent in 1 month.
11. And what does Carina like the most?
The internet has brought her lots of opportunities and she can work from anywhere.
12. Does Elza have kids? How old are they?
She has two kids: Pablo (13) and Laura (5). Both are autistic.
13. What do they say about the color of Elza’s hair?
It was her teenage dream and her husband loves it. It’s expensive. Some people say she’s too old to have this colorful hair, but the doesn’t care.
14. What are her most popular videos?
The simplest ones. She’s got 64 million views in a video about the alphabet.

I'm so happy because I can understand 100% of this video in English and Carina is my inspiration to learn the language when I was in the beginning of this process I was watching over and over again her videos about present, past, future and so on... I still make mistake of course but I can speak the language and I can share my knowledge with other people around me encouraging them to learn the language and for my surprise I've been making money because of a second language... Thank you Carina for sharing your knowledge with us.

Sobre a conversa em si, eu entendi bastante. Achei um pouco mais dificil entender a Teacher Carina por que ela fala mais rápido que a Teacher Elza, e com muitos "links sounds". Para o meu nível do momento, ainda apanho um pouco com listening em conversas com muita fluência/rapidez.
Mas enfim, vou assitir de novo a conversa. Sempre se entende mais, na segunda vez.
É, a Elza falou mais devagar, e ela soa quase como um nativo,falando. Mas acho a Carina mais facíl de entender, mesmo falando rápido. Porém de maneira geral, não entendi quase nada kkkkkkkkkkkk
