Best video I’ve seen on this compressor ever. I have a good idea on how to make it work. I mean I’ve been doing this for 25 years and I’ve worked on major motion pictures and made records, but I’ve never been able to get the luck I want to with it I’m a guy, but I’m gonna use the fundamentals that you taught me today. Great video. I’ll look out for your stuff now.

i see you went with the garage band route, i did try it few days ago and it was a great daw for something that's free and comes with apple products but yeah, after like 6 hours i was done with it because the ridiculous limitations it had lol and went back to my regular daw, Reaper.

I will continue to use Studio One but will be using GarageBand for many videos or projects that are simple enough for it. Definitely limited 😅 I’ll eventually go with Logic but want to make use of GarageBand for now. The midi drummer is neat, but no mix window is kind of a big deal 😳

@@heychrisgreen If you are doing recording, mixing stuff then it doesn't get any better than Reaper, but logic is a great daw as well.

I have a studio one question. How do I switch to a different song in studio one 7 without restarting studio one?

At the top right of your screen there should be an icon that looks like a house. That should return you to the Home Screen to select a different project. Also the paper icon to the right of that will switch back into your last session

@@heychrisgreen thank you! I appreciate the information. I'm new to the DAW recording.
