To me it's so crazy that my country has a dance like this... I don't like the Schuhplattler very much, too slow, too boring for my taste, but this clapping on the legs and stomping is just amazing. I never cared for my own country and for about 3 years took a deep dive into Czech, Slovak and Rusyn culture and I'm so mindblown that Germany has a dance like this with elements I until now (sorry to all my fellow Germans) only knew from Czech(Moravian, especially Slovácko) and Slovak culture. I'm so pround of my country for the first time! Even though I still can't deal with these outfits, they're just too silly. I'M SORRY but only my opinion and my taste. But it's obvious this dance also takes a lot of body control and skill and they both do it so well!!! Also I think I finally know why these dancers wear leather pants😅 Seems like they're hitting their legs even harder than Slovaks or Czechs!
Well it's a dance we share with Austria. In fact Bavarians and Austrians share the same language and culture and are different from the rest of Germany. You can find our clothing silly, it's very comfortable and resistant though and as a female I appreciate that our men show off their legs as the calves are considered an erotic body part in our culture 😅
@ApokalypseN0W Das sind Pantalons -.- Jede lolita weiss das. Und einen Unterrock tragt man auch noch dazu. Ich selber möchte gerne mal so eine Tracht kaufen, sie sehen ja wunderschön aus! ^^ Und das "Lederhoseschlagen" nennt man den Schuhplattler. Es ist so doof sich über die eigene Kultuz zu schämen
@WCiossek Naja weil nicht jeder aus dem Norden eine Lederhosenkultur hat ? Wenn du das wirkliche Wedeler Nachtleben kennen würdest xD das ist mit dem Allgäu nicht Ansatzweise zu vergleichen. Außerdem sind die meisten dann auch in Hamburg und da gehts ab das kann niemand bestreiten.
@ApokalypseN0W Ich komme aus dem Allgäu und kenne die Pinneberger und auch die Wedler sehr genau. Dort ist keine Kultur! Sehr fremdenfeindliche Menschen, und abends sind die Dörfer um Pinneberg wie ausgestorben, Sogar tagsüber sieht man kaum Menschen außer im Auto oder Supermarkt. Das wars dann. Meine Nachbarn haben mich wegen meiner Fremdheit abgelehnt. In Dithmarschen war genau das Gegenteil der Fall. Da wurde ich gnadenlos integriert und die hatten etwas Kultur.!
