Oof, this topic is to be continued 🙄 I heard from work later and they’re making me clock out for my dr assigned extra breaks, which means to make up my hours for my paycheck, I have to work them back at the end of my shift, making my days longer… while in my last month of pregnancy. Nice, corporate America and greed at its best. I’ll talk more about this in the next video when I hopefully know more.

You look amazing, I had high blood pressure with all of my pregnancies, and my 1st I had to start my maternity leave early as my doc put me on bed rest, I had pre eclampsia which can be very dangerous, Ellis came 6 weeks early he was only 4lb 10 oz he was tiny but all good nothing was wrong🩵I’m super excited for you both I can’t wait to see him on future videos 🩵
I’m having some high blood pressure too, out of nowhere the past 2 weeks and yesterday especially after all the work drama, mine hovered at 130/97 which especially the lower number is a concern for my doctors. I’ll bring it all up on my appointment on Sunday. Do you remember how high yours was back in the day, was it a lot higher than that? Just a few more weeks for little Rolli and then I can say bye to all this stupid work stuff and just enjoy the baby bubble. 🩵
@@dolcefoodie I can’t remember fully, the top number was definitely in the 180-190’s I can’t remember the bottom number though, you try and not think too much in to it all ( I know it’s hard) but try and rest and chill as much as you can🥰

I had my blood pressure start to rise towards the ends of my pregnancies (2). With both it would sometimes be 135-140/95-99. Not great. I have other things that classified me as high risk as well, so i was forced to have my bp checked every 2-3 days (thankfully i live in a small town and can reach the clinic easily haha). They did end up inducing me though during the 39th week for both.
During labour for baby 2 my blood pressure did spike up quite high though. More than usual. They put me on medicine for it through labour and had me take it for about 2-4 weeks after. (I hadn't realized but apparently you can develop pre-eclampsia post labour also!
You're all so so close to being able to meet each other! I truly hope the job stuff becomes a lot better than what is being said to you.. how absolutely terrible. Positivity sent your way ❤😊
My bp has been the same as yours, highest being 134/97 for now. I measure at home since I have a machine here and log everything in an app so I can show the doctor because I tend to have white coat syndrome at their office, now THOSE numbers are absolutely insane lol, sometimes 175/something lmao… but we shall see how tomorrow morning goes. I don’t expect miracles from my doctor either :/ but I will speak my peace and probably cry because that’s what I do nowadays and see what happens. Work really is ruining my last month of pregnancy and I intend to make it very clear to everyone out there.

CRUSTY!! You said it lol. I hear most companies are like this though and that’s the bigger problem - America has no proper protection for pregnant women. :/ I’m hoping my short term disability claim will get approved, at least my doctor is on my side. 🩷
Can't you go on early maternity leave if you have to lay down for half the day of work? What's the point of going in then?
@@dragonfly1981yw no because that’s not how it works here… if I were to go on maternity leave early, they’d deduct it from the post-birth maternity leave meaning I’d stay even less time home with the baby after birth than I already am which is barely nothing already (it’s effed up here no matter which way you look at it). But, my doctor put me on bed rest anyway so now I have a short term disability claim pending which will help!

Or they could just cut your hours, and you'd have to take your breaks at home and work split shifts. I had a friend that they did that to. I had another friend that their job told them flat out it wasn't their responsibility to accommodate their pregnancy that it was her responsibility to deal with it that she wasn't the only person that has worked pregnant or that was high risk.

Yea they were kinda eh. I heard they ordered some kind of a bed for me but the breaks were going to be unpaid so it would have cost me a lot of pay cuts per day. :( but I had another appointment today with my high risk doctor, my levels went down and blood pressure up again even more so they assigned me to bed rest aka short term disability. ❤️🩹
When I have my Dog litter when she comes of age ,would you and your husband would want one . Tbh I just that person if I have to give I do it and u love to make everyone happy but there ,not full breed tho ✨❤️love from a long sub when watching you sine you where in your home town and still staying with your roommate 😅but let me stop talking so much 😊and if you want to see them both I will show the future parents to be

Your company is a piece of work they can’t accommodate you and pay you for an extra month maternity leave wow!!! under the circumstances why should anybody have to lay down at their job like that and be uncomfortable while pregnant ridiculous. I’m Sure they can afford it to give you an extra month off. Smh!
They’re a piece of poop “just following corporate rules” without empathy because hey, empathy’s not part of corporate rules. I’ll give an update today once I film another video, boy do I have a lot more to say. When I filmed this video, I had no idea how much worse it’d get.
