Thank you for this. I have replaced my water pump and just need to replace the auxiliary belt. I couldn't get a Haynes manual today and wasn't sure how the tensioner worked so your video has been very useful.
Thank you for this video but it would've been helpful if you showed us how to adjust the tensioner. I spent ages trying to put on a new belt. I had the tensioner held as far back as it would go but the new belt just wouldn't fit. I eventually discovered that you could adjust it with the bolt just above the little wheel.
Hero. You helped me change crank sensor. Unfortunately that didn't get my engine started. Now trying to find out how to check for spark at plugs. Can do it on garden machinery but not these modern cats!

I’m struggling to remove the engine mount bolt with my cheap socket set, I’m trying to change the alternator but I’m also struggling to see where to unplug the power. It’s so tight in and around the 07 model!! Any advice for a noob 😬
nice one sam, did this about 5 years ago, on a mate of a mates corsa, from underneath, without removing the engine mount, was on the road side and they had no jack, never again will i do it that way, cracking video mate.

You cannot do it without taking the mount off... As the mount runs in the middle of the belt.
