The fight got cancelled multiple times due to injuries and what not, Tony doesn't duck and neither did khabib unless reasonably.
Tony still became interim champ and in that moment he was as champion as anyone after everything and all those wins in a row you can't really dispute it.

i remember an old method of training our sanda coach used on us and it was fixing weight on our arms and legs while sparring each others and he was walking around with a stick and would smack the hell out of anyone who drop his guard the day of official fight none of us students drop his guard no matter the amount of pressure or punches and kicks we get and the satisfying thing is that the body is so used to lift weight that keeping arms in that position without weight was so natural no fatigue at all even after 20 minutes of fight the method is maybe old but idk why no one try to use it among the pros
