I've had my orchids for over 10 years, still going strong. Plenty of light but no direct sunlight, water them only when they're looking a bit wilted, feed them up when a flower shoot appears and snip it off when the flowers are finished. That's a beautiful one, so pretty 🥰
@@traderjoesgeek A special orchid food; in the UK we have Baby Bio liquid feed. 5-10 drops per 1/2 litre water when the plant is actively growing/flowering. Otherwise, just water sparingly, let the water drain away and not let them sit in it. It's better to neglect them a bit 😄
@@michellefathers1619 Thanks so much for sharing❣️So far I’ve only watered it a tiny amount from the top and have forgotten about it and it still looks good so far 😅
I love that the waffles are individually wrapped. I put them in my bag for a daily dessert when I have a craving. They are also made in Belgium. Legit Liege waffles. The nailed this one.

I’ve had a Trader Joe orchid for almost a year now, which for me is surprisingly good. They seems to like indirect light, soaking when you water it and make sure that the pot is the right size. I see that they don’t really like being root bound. Regarding the leige waffles, I really like them I just don’t like that they have palm oil like so many Trader Joe products seem to have lately the original ones use butter, which why Trader Joe can’t you put butter in a Belgian pastry for God sakes it’s a bummer! I air fry mine till it gets toasty, and warmed all the way through and the pearls sugar is so much more pronounced. It’s delicious. Thanks for another great haul Geek❤
@@pennylane428 Wow that’s amazing that your orchid lasted almost a year 👏🏻 Thank you for the tips. Someone told me to water it from the top. Do you think soaking it from the bottom would be better? It’s a bummer that they used palm oil for the liege waffles. Butter would have been tastier for sure 😋 I didn’t try them yet but is the pearl sugar like the little sugar crystals that the gluten free muffins have on top? Thank you so much for always watching❣️
Great video & haul❣️Always enjoy them. 😊 After seeing your taste test on the chocolate 🍫 gummy bears 🐻 I’m not so excited anymore. I’m going to pass on them. I totally agree with you on the GF strawberry muffins. They are definitely not the same recipe as last year, no chunks of strawberries 🍓in them. Very disappointing. We love the TJ’s english muffins. I find them to be light, fluffy & tasty. 😋 Appreciate all the time & footwork you put into your videos for your subscribers. Have a wonderful week❣️❣️🥰
@@kathy2933 One of the flavors was just super concentrated making it taste like cough syrup but then a few of them tasted normal. The other reviews have been good on them so I really wonder if I just got a bad bag 🤔 I really thought they were going to be a sure thing too 😞 the texture was great though 👍🏻 I’m noticing more and more the new items that return the next year don’t taste as good as when they first debuted like the lemon sheet cake, the gluten free strawberry muffins, and a few more 😕 Still haven’t tried the English muffins yet. my orchid loves to be spritzed, and seems to like being watered frequently. After the initial bloom, it stayed dormant for over a year, but now blooms faithfully once a year-- and the blooms last weeks.
@@traderjoesgeek Yes to water spritzing. My husband (the orchid guy) uses my emptied TJ's Rose Water Facial Toner bottles to spritz every day, including leaves (does not water the soil). Sprays with Miracle Grow Orchid Food Mix about once a week. Watering soil depends on if it's in bark or mulch. Good luck!
