Hi Jen, Thank you for ur honest review of Beekman 1802, its funny how what works for one person simply doesn't work for another. I am a senior Retired Master Esthetician, and I absolutely love this line , the ingredients, are all geared to dry/ sensitive skin, to be loving and gentle. The actives are at quite low enough percentages where with consistency and time will show improvement however it would not be my first choice line for actives and anti aging to go full force ahead, but a definite yes for dry/ sensitive skin with relatively no major issues like Hyperpigmentation, to many fine lines and wrinkles, for skin that is well maintained this is great gentle maintenance. Love their philosophy, kind to skin ,kind to animals,, and go green with recycling of there bottles at no cost to us.it basically fragrance free , I am using it now that my skin is where I want it to be with the exception of being naturally dry...well , like 4 ever. So sorry thus did not work out for you, all the other brands u mentioned Paula's Choice in particular, reversed and changed my much abused skin.. Hope this brand flourishes and that more people have the good fortune I have experienced Thank you again Melanie

Omg, I have been using the Beekman boys for years now I was like one of their first fans when they first came on Evine I just love them sooooo much I love their soap the best ever!!! Love their lip balms, Lotion and soap 🧼😍👌💕
Awesome. I've heard they have amazing body wash, lotions, ECT... I love a good lip balm too. It's a nice clean product. I just wish it had been a bit more moisturizing. Other than that it's decent ♥️

I haven’t tried the face products. I’ve been using the body line for a while. The bar soap and the whipped body cream are wonderful. I’m 62 and have dry skin.

I think you should try the dream booster with the bloom cream. Two of those in conjunction might work for you very well because the dream cream booster is a natural form of retinol. So it might be better for less young skin

Keep up the good work. You may feel like giving up because you have very little subscribers. But if you look at your conversion rate /engagement rate versus your subscriber count, you have a higher engagement rate that a lot of bigger youtubers. Like this video has 90 comments. And a few hundred views that's a great engagement rate and I bet it'll do great for you if you just keep doing your thing!

While searching this product, I came across your channel, and I followed. I plan on checking your Instagram, too. I LOVE this brand, Beekman 1802! We have been using products from them for several years now. Cruelty free is so attractive to me, in fact I no longer purchase beauty that isn't. Think about it, do you really need to torture animals for skin cream? I know, right? It is so silly and I wish I had been more aware earlier on in my life. You were already making the purchase, so the young lady wasn't trying to push you to buy. I think she was just being sincere, and really kind of sweet. Anyway, you can dispense the moisturizer and then add the serum droppers to it and then apply. I think it works beautifully, without leaving a lot of stuff that ends up on your pillow. Better still, it is wonderful to use before applying cosmetics. It works very well on my skin. I am sure it depends on skin type. Mine is dry. As far as the cleanser goes, I have not tried it. You never said if you had makeup on when you used it, so I am not sure what to think about it. I can't imagine that it doesn't have some cleansing properties. There are many that don't lather up, but it is more a personal preference. I prefer a sudsy cleanser, myself but I am always trying different things.

I don’t think she was fibbing to convince me. That was more self deprecating humor. Poking fun at my age. It didn’t remove my makeup, and I like you love a foamy cleanser. Even though it doesn’t mean that it’s cleaning my skin more than a non-foamy cleanser. In my mind I think it is. I have been a Beekman neighbor now for about a year and 4 months. I am glad they have it now at Ulta. I usually buy their products from HSN or on the Beekman website. I just started using some of their probiotic skin care and Im very happy with the eye serum and milk drops ! I'm a satisfied customer! 🌠🌠🌠🌠

I had not heard of this brand before. TBH, I have spent so much on OTC skincare with little to no results, I opted to go medical grade and that is where I sink my money when it comes to skin care. In the end, it was actually CHEAPER! the visits can be more, granted a facial peel etc, but for products that work, worth every penny. Because I have seen the results of those, I get a little sketched out to stop using what I know works and opt for spending money on a OTC line. HOWEVER, that said you did mention some that I am familiar with and do love and actually use on top of my night-time care. Shishido is a fav of mine for sure.
Yes lady! One of my fave skincare brands. I have to agree. Real results for me at my age are not found in a bottle at Sephora. A little maintenance, and hydration absolutely. If I want a real lift, and glow I’m going to the Medi Spa. Where the products make me take out a third mortgage, but they work.🤣
I'm so sad to hear that you need bubbles to feel clean. I went to cosmetology school over 10 years ago, I have my degree in hair Skin and nails and I love the Beekman approach. I have never tried their skin care because I wanted to check the reviews first that's why I started watcging your video. However, I agree with their philosophy, they're clean beauty stance and how they don't have any harsh chemical surfactants, no harsh sodium lauryl sulfates [which are very harsh chemical detergents], no petroleum, [which is the thing that makes your dish soap or body wash bubbles look rainbow in certain light] and that's why the exfoliating cleanser didn't bubble up. And I tried to teach all my clients, especially the older ones, and I mean older than me, that we have been ingrained to associate "clean with bubbles" but products with those heavy detergents in them are very drying and they suck out all the moisture from your skin anywhere that you use them, your body if you use cheap body wash or bar soaps. It's just so drying, your hair/skin can crack due to overuse of sulfate cleansers. The one thing I try to teach my clients is to try and it's slowly stop associating bubbles with being clean. And I always give them this analogy: back in the day when we didn't have laundry machines and we didn't have traditional soap, ladies would wash their clothes on a wooden board, sometimes with lye, but most of the time not, and it was just the motion of agitating the clothes against the rocks and wood that would get them clean. If you put your clothes in the washing machine with no soap it would still clean your clothes because of the motion of the water and how hard the machine spins and agitates your clothes. I explained that a few times and sometimes they can start understanding better especially after that analogy. Because bubbly soap is relatively new compared to our billion year old society. I don't know...please leave me a comment or reply and let me know what you think of my thoughts.
You clearly are very educated, and I respect your thoughts and information on the cleansing of this product. I am definitely not a cosmetologist. Perhaps it’s a Psychosomatic type of thing. Where in my mind bubbles equate clean, but to be honest as just a regular consumer my skin did not feel clean after using the face cleanser. It truly felt as if there were still makeup on my face, and I used a wipe and discovered there was. I don’t think this is a bad product in fact I think it’s a great product. Just so happens I need something more moisturizing, or at least I feel that I do. Regardless I wouldn’t say that this was bad at all, and I don’t think I did. No matter. Your intellect, and passion for this product is inspired. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. You are as wise as you are lovely 😊
I love your sweater so much. It's beautiful. It's probably all the same product, just in different packages, to make you think you're getting different things. Just kidding. That's just what came to mind when you said most of the products felt the same. The cleanser definitely doesn't sound great. Those 20 year olds can keep their goat cheese skincare. Thank you for your honest review. I’m sorry that it wasn’t a hit. I love skincare. I’m less about using an entire range from a brand and more about finding the best, affordable ingredient sources like niacinamide, Retin A, Azelaic acid, vitamin c, etc.....

And I always give them this analogy: back in the day when we didn't have laundry machines and we didn't have traditional soap, ladies would wash their clothes on a wooden board, sometimes with lye, but most of the time not, and it was just the motion of agitating the clothes against the rocks and wood that would get them clean. If you put your clothes in the washing machine with no soap it would still clean your clothes because of the motion of the water and how hard the machine spins and agitates your clothes. I explained that a few times and sometimes they can start understanding better especially after that analogy. Because bubbly soap is relatively new compared to our billion year old society. I don't know...please leave me a comment or reply and let me know what you think of my thoughts.
You clearly are very educated, and I respect your thoughts and information on the cleansing of this product. I am definitely not a cosmetologist. Perhaps it’s a Psychosomatic type of thing. Where in my mind bubbles equate clean, but to be honest as just a regular consumer my skin did not feel clean after using the face cleanser. It truly felt as if there were still makeup on my face, and I used a wipe and discovered there was. I don’t think this is a bad product in fact I think it’s a great product. Just so happens I need something more moisturizing, or at least I feel that I do. Regardless I wouldn’t say that this was bad at all, and I don’t think I did. No matter. Your intellect, and passion for this product is inspired. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. You are as wise as you are lovely 😊

I love your sweater so much. It's beautiful. It's probably all the same product, just in different packages, to make you think you're getting different things. Just kidding. That's just what came to mind when you said most of the products felt the same. The cleanser definitely doesn't sound great. Those 20 year olds can keep their goat cheese skincare.
