When I first played KH nearly 12 years ago I thought, "Oh hey, this game looks like it'll be fun and cute. It has Disney characters and everything!" No one warned me...

The timeline makes sense if you sort of just ignore some parts of union x in order that you play the games. Just piecing the plot together can get tricky.
If you play the games in release order and ignore Union X (until it becomes relevant in future games) literally no one should have trouble with the timeline unless they're stupid.
So... from that scene I think. Mickey, Ventus and Kairi get taken away and Riku with Lea (Axel) are dead. And Sora is broken from that. -If Sora and Kairi wont end up kissing together I will be pissed
Me too. He's always so happy go lucky about everything and I get the feeling in this game we're going to see him crumble, then come back stronger of course but it's going to be rough. Also I wonder how and if he's going to be tested again for the mark of mastery.

They literally give the name of the final world, show many scenes from the fight with the organization, and spoil Xion being in the organization. So glad I didn’t watch this.
The actual scenes from this trailer in game were honestly extremely underwhelming compared to this trailer. I call this the Versus effect because the first trailer for Versus XIII was better than all of the actual game in my opinion. This trailer added so much drama, anxiety, suspense, and other strong emotions that was barely present in game. Overhype was a real killer for me. Don't get me wrong. Game was great and very fun. I just expected more story/emotion.
I think the hardest part about watching this trailer is seeing Sora on his knees ready to give up and screaming in despair. We've always seen him as happy go lucky and positive and we see so much contrast here up to the point where Riku has to protect him. This game is going to be emotionally breaking.

I know right? Glad I didn't get spoiled by watching and analyzing each and all the trailers they released. Made the game 100x better, going in not knowing what to expect. I even logged out of RUclips until I beat the game to not have those recommended videos show up.
The game was actually much more enjoyable when you didn't know what was going to happen. I didn't even listen to the theme songs until I got the game or see any of advertisements that RUclips put out, I'd immediately mute the video and scroll down if they came on I had learned my lesson years ago when KH2 first came out (which I was anticipating since KH1) and I in my naivete watched all the trailers IGN put out and watched all the character interviews they did which revealed ALOT of end game material. By the time I got the game I felt like I had been spoiled by the trailers and videos and because of that had a less enjoyable time with the game.

I dont know if anyone else noticed it but i love how Kairi says "Dont hold back Lea promise" and he looks at her and sees Xion because those are exactly the last words Xion said to him except she said Axel.
@@alexeas5256 Yeah i just thought that was a clever and awesome callback to Xion especially how hes just looking at the distance then after Kairi says it he immediately turns his head at her and faintly sees Xion. Very well done scene. Its like her saying that triggered the memory in his heart of him and Xions last conversation.

I started crying the first time I heard it, I literally couldn't handle hearing that, or hearing him cry, or (to keep this spoiler free just in case you haven't played yet.) Hearing how he reacted to something else also broke my heart. This game just basically broke my heart in general because I've loved Sora since this game came out in 2002.
With how Awkward Haley Joel OSment sounded in the 0.2 scene, i was worried that maybe he wasn't up to still playing Sora, but this trailer really dashed those worries, and that Scream is Brutal
Matthew Dave It weirded me out even more in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories seeing Sora who was still young-looking like how he was in the first Kingdom Hearts game talking in his much deeper sounding voice from Kingdom Hearts II. Hearing that voice in Sora’s younger appearance is jarring, I felt the same way when he took that form in Dream Drop Distance.
They didn't spoil anything I finished the game yesterday and a good portion of the keyblade graveyard isn't in the trailer which is exactly how it should've been

Sora's words at the beginning plus his scream near the end is by far some of the best Haley Joel Osment's acting I've seen so far and the game is not out yet which makes me more excited to play it.

I avoided this trailer before launch because I was scared it was going to spoil too many parts of the game. I beat KH3 last night and holy hell am I glad I didn’t see this. There were so many epic and emotional moments that I had through my playthrough because I had a genuine first experience time with the game. I didn’t expect all these moments that are spoiled in this trailer. I cannot believe they would want to show The Final World and Scala Ad Caelum. Those were two of my favorite moments from the entire franchise. They likely won’t stop this kind of marketing moving forward, so take what I’ve said however you will. When there’s an eventual Kingdom Hearts 4, I promise you the experience will be worth missing the trailers

i did see this trailer but because the game took forever to come out i had forgotten everything about this trailer so i was still surprised by most of the stuff in the story. it probably also helped that i didn't get a ps4 until this year and i refused to move on until i played everything to catch up again so my mind was already over flowing with this series lore that i wouldn't have been able to remember anything from this even if i wanted to.

The sad thing is that this trailer is actually well made. Perfect use of the musical themes, and I especially love the pathos put in the second part. How it all leads up following a climax to the final battle - and Sora’s scream at the end. The worst thing is that we got spoiled of major parts of the game lol (plus, if we have to be honest, these emotional moments were made a lot better with this trailer than in the actual game)

I avoided this trailer before launch because I was scared it was going to spoil too many parts of the game. I beat KH3 last night and holy hell am I glad I didn’t see this. There were so many epic and emotional moments that I had through my playthrough because I had a genuine first experience time with the game. I didn’t expect all these moments that are spoiled in this trailer. I cannot believe they would want to show The Final World and Scala Ad Caelum. Those were two of my favorite moments from the entire franchise.
They likely won’t stop this kind of marketing moving forward, so take what I’ve said however you will. When there’s an eventual Kingdom Hearts 4, I promise you the experience will be worth missing the trailers

i did see this trailer but because the game took forever to come out i had forgotten everything about this trailer so i was still surprised by most of the stuff in the story. it probably also helped that i didn't get a ps4 until this year and i refused to move on until i played everything to catch up again so my mind was already over flowing with this series lore that i wouldn't have been able to remember anything from this even if i wanted to.

The sad thing is that this trailer is actually well made. Perfect use of the musical themes, and I especially love the pathos put in the second part. How it all leads up following a climax to the final battle - and Sora’s scream at the end. The worst thing is that we got spoiled of major parts of the game lol (plus, if we have to be honest, these emotional moments were made a lot better with this trailer than in the actual game)
