Following on to the upgrading workstations - refine your lower level workstations to the max level before doing this, the quality level carries over to the upgrade. It's a good way to save higher level gemstones.
As a newbie to the game I already got some great tipps from the gameplay videos. For example it helped me on how to do sandfishing - I never caught a fish, until I realized watching the video that you have to aim exactly at the fish until its highlighted instead of just the general area around the worm. I noticed that I can sell most house cosmetics, the roof and even make the house smaller for some extra starting money - not sure if this is worth it, but with it I could afford expensive stuff like sharpening stones for early tool upgrades. Also looting all the chests in town was worth it - one of the ballon chests that you can get down by throwing rocks at the ballon had 500 gol in it.
Here is another tip(I don't now if you know this but): unless you have a advance sandtrap please don't attempt to fish large variation of fish it will not fit and if you have a simple sandtrap the level 1 thing try to upgrade it to rare for more wiggle room for your aim haha (it will highlight more often).
@@passerby97 Thanks for the tip . I just researched the Refiner and by upgrading the Basic Sandfish Trap I now can catch multiple fishes quite easily and can even catch the big fishs. Although I don't know yet what to do with the big fishs as I can not use them with the Drying Rack.
Another tip would be to double the day. If you're struggling with time, go to the game speed in the options menu and lower it to 0.6 This will practically almost double your day giving you more time to grind, harvest, mine and generally everything in between. The only downside is that your workshop stuff will take a little while longer to make as they follow the time of day. But at least you'll have more time to do more stuff.
Aout a quarter of the way through and just realized this. Such a game changer for storage and space management. Time management too, no more running around to multiple storage looking for something.
@@michaelmiles2647you're a saint! Thank you! Also, in case anyone newer comes along- if you bought the DLC decoration items DONT open them from the mailbox when you first start. You'll have nowhere to put them and it's the worst! I had to restart my game it made me so crazy.
I didn't know about the outfits! Great tip and awesome video. Like you, I always manually (+) add fuel to my machinery. I tried pressing the (auto) button to see which fuel it would take and it defaulted to Power Stones. Just a heads up! Looking forward to your next playthrough episode with Jade~
the defaut are dregs in your case is there not enough dregs to fully fill the fuel chamber and in result it takes a couple of powerstone to fully filled it up. (auto button)
I may be ill-informed, but your accent kept shifting from like Australian to straight American-esque like 😂 I'm here because I'm a my time noob on xbox lol
Grow coffee tea tree. There always seems to be a few commissions for coffee or tea. (Conveniently on one tree... hehe rhyme..) easy commissions, good amount of points and gold. And does not waste valuable building materials or time.
I have the to much invintory issue because the dlc had alot though it gave two storage boxes. I like the kitty to but i wish we coul hav x as a pet hes a cool crow :). These are helpful tips hopfully it can help me maintain a steady pattern lol.
Hey. Is there any early furniture for the House that increase Stamina? Even i played the prequel "My Time at Portia" a lot i have the Feeling Stamina is even more Valuable in Sandrock. All the Stuff ive found so far is ATK Increase or Def or something like that.
There's in the event store located at city hall I believe two things that'll up stamina -- the first big holiday/event happens end of the first month and there are commissions before that that'll get you the currency for it as well so at least by the first month you should be able to get at least those. I'm not sure about anything else though as I haven't really looked into furniture!
Does anyone know if the “multi select” thing is available on console? There’s no tutorial for it on Xbox and am really fed up of moving all my plants one by one 🙃
alternatively just get 3 pets and send them out for water every day... who needs dew collectors when my pets bring back like 8 water every day + a ton of dew.
You could for sure, but as I mentioned these tips are more for the early game and unless you get the gecko from the DLC pets take a bit to get so before you unlock the pet system and get them to buddy status to adopt them building dew collectors is a great idea.
These tips will come in handy when I can actually play the game! I preordered the physical copy, and I keep going to pick it up only to be told it's delayed. Over, and over, and over, and over again! At least today when I was told it was pushed back until the 22nd (5th time the "release date" has rolled around btw 😑) the man does see an in transit which means they should FINALLY have it next time I go in! Why you don't release the digital and physical copy at the same time is beyond me. But poor playstation though have to wait until March of next year!.... WHY!!
I don't have it this switch between Equipment and Outfit... hmm did I something wrong? Btw. In few things my game looks diffrent for some reason, for example: skill tab, you have tabs and I have skill tree looks like a +. Or in salvage zone I have big bus to scrap.
If you're on console some of this stuff might be coming to you in an update soon. If you're on PC make sure your game is fully updated to the full release version as it sounds like you might have missed the update to full release!

This helped me so much! I especially loved the outfits tip because I want best gear but want what looks best too! I appreciate this video so much!
Thx for the help 🙂 One thing I’ll add- when you open one storage bin there are arrows at top of screen to move between all your bins!

I found the clothing that came in the DLC's were the best armor I needed for a long time.

Bit late, but you press X for multi select , then A on each extra, B then assemble group or whatever.
