I had two of these. I got hit broadside on my first one by a drunk driver on Christmas day 1977 in Greenville N.C.. Nearly lost my right foot. If not for my crash bars , which the car hit first before collapsing into my leg, I would have lost it. After a year of learning to walk again I bought a second `72 650 Yam in 1979 and kept it until about 2000. I have been riding Harleys since 1998, but still have a love of this bike. It ran beautifully and had a great sounding engine. I always thought of it as a poor man`s Triumph ! The first one was totaled in the wreck and I should have never sold the second one ! Had a few early `70s Yamaha Enduros too. All were great looking and running bikes.

Cool. I had one exactly like that. It was all original when I sold it in 1995 with 11M miles. Wish I had it back.
Fantastic!!
Can you still get parts ? Or is it limited to like only 30 % in parts ??
