This is one of the best tutorials i have seen for these tools. Better than the ones by the developers of the tool. Thanks so much for sharing this knowledge.
Thank you for the amazing tutorial! More Houdini with Vray please🔥🔥 I have a question. In Houdini and vray I am struggling to figure out how to render motion blur pass to use it in Nuke. I searched a lot but couldn't find a solution
@@xman4509 If VRay can render it, it should also be able to render it in the velocity render element. But that is just a wild guess (I am not a V-Ray for Houdini expert)
Not useful for people coming in with no nuke experience. How do you load in several images to the read node? For me Nuke created individual images(separate nodes)?
Hi Tom, unfortunately my channel is not meant for absolute beginners in Nuke. When you press R to read in images there is a checkbook in the lower left corner that allows you to see a sequence of images as one file to load into your node graph. Cheers!

nice tutorial. One question, isntead of using a head created with facebuilder, can you use a head scan ? and How?I mean I sacan myself with the revopoint POP scanner and then How to use that scanned mesh of my head with facetracker? thanks in advance
Thank you! At this moment it is not possible to use KeenTools FaceTracker with external geometry. But you can use the FaceTracker geo and apply the movement of it to your custom model afterwards in Maya or another 3D package. Cheers!

You can render a velocity render element out of V-Ray for Houdini.
Cheers!
@@LoveVFX Thank you. I Tried it before on many scenes and on particles. It didn't work and I checked that in Nuke. It is blank? Did I miss something
@@xman4509 I don´t know if you are missing something. But I know that it works if you render out a velocity render element.
Cheers!
@@LoveVFX should I change any settings in the geo node beside creating the velocity aov

keentools said you can use a generic head in their Q&A's. It is not imperatively required to use facebuilder as I understood it.
so cool! thank you for your videos !
Thank you! :-)
I’m glad you like them!
Excellent video! Just want to know if there's a chance that I can bake the face track data to a new object in Maya?
Thank you!
You could do that with a parent constraint and by baking the keys on your new object afterwards.
Cheers!
