I’m glad to hear that by your review I will give it a chance heard soo many bad things bout the movie they even said it’s on the same level as Morbius despite all that I still wanna check it out gotta be better than the Marvels terrible film see why it flops so hard at the box office the cats taken over the space ship , terrible villain really not much of story
@@WillFons I won’t get mad and you said it’s bout the story not the CGI action scenes that’s nice to hear in my opinion storytelling always comes first
You would think like okay with how bad nearly every marvel and Star Wars thing is and each thing hitting like the lowest level in a decade and nearly setting records of the lowest performances of all time with massive glaring issues in them that they’ve got to be getting close to rock bottom and they just keep finding away to prove that wrong. Eventually it’ll just be ai written content with like puppets or something which is about the level of the acting in this. If it’s bad it’s got to be like hammy or campy or fun in some way and they don’t do that either.
I mean I liked the animated series and she was in it some but this was absolutely nothing like that. I mean she doesn’t look like her and there’s like zero any other aspect of Spider-Man or that particular character besides them just calling it that name. I feel like how bad stuff is lately and every marvel and Star Wars thing tanking worse than the last thing people’s standards seem to be lowering it. Or they want it to be good for once and just choose to ignore weird stuff but this seems so aggressively bad at every level. Poorly written, poorly acted, poorly conceived like all of it. It feels like there’s no much more to fail at. That seems to be what they’re relying on though is the fan service filling in for quality, that’s part of why they can keep making such terrible shows and movies that keep plummeting the value of the brands. It’s like people are watching because it reminds them of a thing that was good vs what they’re currently watching. I mean there’s bad stuff that’s still entertaining and then there’s just bad stuff with boring flat characters and massive mistakes.
Also I don’t know if that’s like a character you do their own thing on some characters are better in small doses. I feel like if just having the name on it is enough and it doesn’t need to be like the character at all or good in anyway then just make literally anything and be like boom it’s good. Just say Sherlock Holmes and have it be nothing like him but people will be like oh I love Sherlock Holmes so I liked it.
I feel like making stuff with character names that isn’t like them and isn’t good starts to dilute the characters and the brand. You’d just have to ignore those films and shows and rewrite it if you want to do something good that honors the character and builds on why people like it without violating what it is but also not just recycling. It doesn’t really have to say anything new but it does need to have more than the name and include the things that make people like the character and world. And I think I’d lean on tying it in with Spider-Man more as it feels like it loses power and importance wihtout the character that provides the context for the rest. It’s like doing a show on a Superman side character without much Superman context to it, just sort of vaguely mentioning they know Superman. Like I’d want it to actually tie into that in a solid way somehow and have some impact on things at large. Or I don’t know just be good at least, give more time connect to that character at the very least. Also the bad guy is hard to take seriously, just have him talk in his suit only if he’s gonna sound that weird. Least you wouldn’t see his mouth and he’d have some mystery.
That's fair. Never let the internet let tell you if you can enjoy something or not.
This reaction feels pain

I can't get past the fact that they both seem to wearing the same lipstick... someone join patrion so he can afford his own lippy.
