Этот экзамен - сам по себе готовый балетный спектакль. Смотрится на одном дыхании. Просто восхитительно. Посмотрела уже несколько раз и еще буду, очень нравится. Спасибо Николаю Максимовичу и ребятам за доставленное удовольствие. Выпускникам желаю творческих удач. Не сомневаюсь, что их имена мы скоро услышим!

Что можно сказать?! Восхитительно. Культурно. С большим изяществом и безупречным вкусом. Цискаридзе - Личность. Это проявляется во всем: и в творчестве , и в личной позиции. Русской школе (и особенно мужчинам) всегда недоставало "быстрых ног" - а что вы хотите, климат-то какой, мышцы в холоде полгода )) Цискаридзе меняет этот паттерн, ребята изумительно точны в vivo темпе и предельно музыкальны. Поздравляю! Очень понравилось.

Красиво всё; прекрасно сочетается мелкая техника, шаг, и сильные прыжки. Очень хорошая музыка! И самое главное - гениальный труд камеры, оператора!!

Amazing quality. I was lucky to see this boys' class starting from September 2016, when they first came to work with Maestro Nikolai Tsiskaridze. What progress these boys have made!!!!
All the students came from different teachers, some -from different cities.
Dedication, talent and inspiration from the teacher, ... combined with trust and hard work from the students.
I did expect to see good results, but this exam is far beyond expectations!
Congratulations to Maestro!!! Brilliant work!

All five boys received invitation to join Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Ballet Companies. Three graduating students have received invitation to join Bolshoi Theatre Company - Egor Geraschenko, Pavel Mikheev and Oscar Frame (Great Britain) all three on the left at the barre

The boy with ponytail Egor is now a Bolshoi dancer and danced in Le Corsaire (Cavalier), Swan Lake (Rothbart) and debuted as Jean de Brienne in Raymonda, saw him also rehearse Don Quixote

I was looking at all boys individually and one of them reminds me very much of Tsiskaridze, the tall boy with a pony tail, his grace, movement of his arms and use of his head. He is a natural talent.
PS. posting this 3 months later. I was right. Egor is now at Bolshoi. I saw him dance Black Swan PDD at competition.
He was wonderful. Very much reminded me of his teacher dancing Siegfried. Bravo

I love the combinations! I love the idea of working both legs on a single exercise. Many ballet teachers still on professional level keep the formula devant-seconde-derriere-derriere-seconde-devant and the same with the other leg.
What a nice version of Shostakovich Gadfly and music from Golden Age and Bright Stream (a PDD Tsiskaridze and Alexandrova danced there) and most of all 2nd movement of piano concerto ..... These boys are wonderful... Nikolai Tsiskaridze is a great teacher.

Oscar Frame is incredible! He is the one that stood out to me, even though they are ALL amazingly talented! True star material! Bravo to Tsiskaridze, he truly made this class of young men into true ballet dancers instead of just students.
Yes, Oscar and Egor too, both at Bolshoi now. I haven't heard anything about Oscar lately, has he been getting any solo roles? Egor danced Cavalier in Le Corsair and Rothbart in Swan Lake
Oscar has had a pretty good first year. He was a chevalier in the premiere of Ratmansky's Romeo and Juliet, danced the French Dolls in Nutcracker, was Bluebird in Sleeping Beauty, the peasant pas de deux in Giselle, one of the two friends in La Sylphide (Egor was actually the second friend, which I thought was great). He is also going to debut in the grand pas and as one of the troubadors in Raymonda at the end of June.

Nikolai early in his career danced Mercutio in two different choreographies.. he danced the French doll too and really was a doll, he was an amazing Bluebird, he danced James in La Sylphide very early with Pavlova and Albrecht with her too, I wish there was a clip of that Giselle, I have a photo but couldn't find any clips, Grand Pas won him gold medal in Mocow competition. As you see, I am a huge fan of his. He was and is the best.
Did you read incredible interview with Oscar when he was talking about Nikolai? It was wonderful. And Egor's parent's send Nikolai thank you cards every weekend. After everything he went through at Bolshoi I am so glad he is so loved now. There was also a televised meeting of Nikolai with his ex students from Bolshoi and Vaganova and it was so touching the way they talked about him, with such love and devotion. There was his whole class that dances here, Rodkin, Vorontsova, Sevenard (I am not crazy about her) and others. One of his ex students lost it in my book when I fond out what he did, a traitor Ovcharenko who left him for money to bad mouth him, no wonder he is now not so great and lags behind Denis. By the way, do yo know the story behind the choral version of Gadfly Nikolai used here for Adagio? I never heard this version before, it is beautiful. Could you possibly post just this part by itself? I just love it. I wold like to post it in my ballet group that is largely devoted to Nikolai.

Malonek Upstairs on the balcony there was a whole bunch of other students watching the exam and it was they were clapping. Not sure if it was allowed before as on other videos I have never heard anyone else.
I suppose there are no rules, just tradition and common sense which leads the behaviour of the observers, but someone more qualified might answer the question. :)

It's not Broadway, those are ballets of Shostakovich, Golden Age and Bright Stream and the orchestral piece his Gadfly
@@BytomGirl And one Broadway number, "Tea For Two" by Vincent Youmans, from "No, No, Nanette," at 11:00 minutes. Infectious melody and rhythm and so danceable.

Смотрела видео классического урока Цискаридзе 1991г, то есть даже не выпускной класс. Да и много с ним подобных видео пересмотрела. Ребята все стройные, длинноногие и элементы сложнее и делают четче (не прыгают/не валятся с поворотов). А эти ребята получается самые лучшие из отобранных.... с длинными волосами какай-то вообще толстый и коротконогий, как будто из секции дзюдо временно попросили постоять. Удивительно...

His name is Pavel Mikheev he's currently dancing in Mariinsky Ballet

@@mnmleung This whole exam is to music of Shostakovich in the matter of fact. Rector Tsiskaridze's tribute to him. When he was a young dancer the first ballet he danced his first year at Bolshoi was Shostakovich's Golden Age

Вы меня извините... Я ничего не понимаю... Вот этого вот парня с хвостиком зовут Егор Геращенко? Неужели его НМЦ обозвал Дровосеком?!! Ведь он здесь просто супер! Воздушный, элегантный, координированный! на мой взгляд, он один из лучших, если не лучший здесь....но я не спец в балете, просто больше всех понравился.
Личные мотивы там завязаны.
А мне , как раз таки, он показался самым слабым, вначале во всяком случае. Хотя я очень далека от балета. Это, так сказать, мнение человека из толпы

Самый лучший - это Оскар Фрейм, который по центру стоит у палки. Смотрите только на этих двоих и увидите разницу. Геращенко штормит во все стороны, корпус болтается. Оба пошли в БТ, а там Оскара подставили, ну и уволили потом. К счастью, он не пропал и теперь солирует в Тбилиси. А Геращенко себя вел недостойно. на этом экзамене, видимо, был его бенефис.Танцевать разучился и растерял то что ему дали в АРБ. Хоть и в Большом, но без слез не взглянешь..
Оскара очень давно не видела. Хорошо бы посмотреть. Очень способный мальчик был.

Я не согласна с восторга ми. не на эту группу материал.минитацевальныйспектакль в этом экзерсисеклассе...? хотя цели и задачи у педагога были свои.а я просто зритель,
Больше Цискаридзе не экспериментирует.Не все могут выдержать темпо-ритм урока без остановок и пауз.Загон мышц.Можно перетрудить и восстановить очень сложно.Интересно фамилии ребят знать и где кто сейчас из них.
