Epictetus' Stoic principles illuminate the path to lasting happiness and resilience. These 4 principles offer invaluable insights into cultivating inner strength and enduring joy. Thank you for sharing such timeless wisdom on finding true fulfillment. +1 suscriber
Definitely going to share this one. I put lots of these into practice already, but the momento mori and negative visualization are new tools to my growing toolbox. Thank you!
"memento mori," for in contemplating mortality, we awaken to the preciousness of each fleeting moment. Harness the power of negative visualization to temper desire and cultivate gratitude, finding solace in the acceptance of life's impermanence. May these newfound tools fortify your spirit and deepen your understanding on the path to Stoic enlightenment.
Great video! Thank you!❤
I love listen to these videos daily. Perfect for my sauna sessions
“Attach yourself to what is spiritually superior, regardless of what other people think or do. Hold to your true aspirations no matter what is going on around you.” - Marcus Aurelius
Journaling can help you to understand yourself better 🙏
Great 👍
TY for the reminder about the dichotomy of control. I've been worried about someone and how he's doing with the transition to his next phase of life. I have no control over his situation so my worrying is not wise. I can only watch from afar and hope that everything is going well for him, the other people in his life, and the people who can affect his welfare in a positive way. I accept that is all I will ever be able to do. I have to learn to be okay with that.
I'm not sure about the practice of negative visualization. I understand the practice, however, I have a nasty habit of making my thoughts come true. Having negative thoughts about my life will only make my life go in the wrong direction. It won't be a motivator. That's not how things work for me. I will instead continue my daily gratefulness practices. I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm going to pass on this stoic practice. 🙏
❤ the video's, it teaçh how we control yourself and miditate and practic and don't let distraction bother you or get mad over something. To make yoirself to be bètter or have strengh and enerĝy or leave a happy live and is better not to get angry. Control yourself and be clam and self control. " Thank you fir the video's"
"Freedom is the only worthy goal in life. It is won by disregarding things that lie beyond our control."
