Sorry, its been a while since I've last uploaded. I've been slammed with work and haven't had the time to edit and upload. The bike is progressing pretty good and we're on track to finish in time. In this video, I worked on the exhaust pipes and simplified my wiring harness.
Stay tuned for more updates and like always, Thank you for watching!

@@andrewfelcey5593 ahaha
Working on my own project and love you’re instructional vids. Chopping down the wire harness tomorrow!!
Got me a 83 honda shadow 500 it’s a bobber with a ridged frame been wanting to chop the wiring harness this helped me out a good bit
The Shadow is a perfect basis for a custom build.
I love the way you create your own motorcycle parts from scrap metal, I'm riding a custom Kawasaki A1 Z1000 myself. Respect from the Netherlands and carry on the good work!
Just started watching a few videos ago on this build , it's so basic on the commentary its soo good its a very refreshing look at how to ..there are soo many folks doing videos and blogs that really do go over the top on the comments and description of what and how they are doing . I like the usage of the spare parts and the way some are modified . Liking the videos a lot well done
oh man...I'm building an '80 Honda CB650 bobber and the re-wiring has my head spinning but it has to be done. I already have the metal oil tank for the electronics in place. Fingers crossed
Nice to see / hear it run. Great use of old parts! Have to admit, I'm a bit sad to see the paint leave the tank. I'm a little sentimental for the Rust Daddy, ha ha. Nice hook -up on the electrical plugs, that always makes things a bit easier. Wiring can be the bane of any bike builders existence, but it looks like you got it nailed down. Keep up the great work. Love from cold and wet Denver.
Thank you!! and I had to remove it. It wouldn't be my build if I left it on haha
@@LNSPLTBLVD Oh, it is definitely YOUR build! Ride safe.
Really love how simple you make it all look
You guys are awesome, i jus bought my first honda vt600 to chop down. So this channel is such an inspiration for me! Keep up the good work!
You’ve given motivation to knock out my own customisation... everything from frame to running electrics 🤙🏻 cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 🐨 🦘
It's a pleasure seeing your work, man. I have a bobber project and your videos gave me the right inspiration.
Dude killer work. Found your channel and been binge watching. This is about to blow up! Keep up the good work.
Those little scoops on the the " high canceling baffles" will make the queen seat's riders foot hot.
Those baffles look good but they are made to place inside a large exhaust tube to cancel the high tones in an exhaust.''''just saying". I would still use them the way you have, they look good ...and then when your Gal burns her leg on the exhaust she's branded with you signature waffle pattern....Ha. Love ...love the finished look and sound ..Thanks for sharing.
timamyett I don’t think the baffles are to lower the decibels 😀
@@danothemano1 ..... They're normally placed in the tube at the far end of the first run with no restrictions the hot exhaust go through the small openings into a bigger tube... The back pressure and restrictions there would kill the high part of the tone of the exhaust allowing the lower tones to continue.... I had a Honda Valkyrie with an individual tube coming off each cylinder ...sounded like a moped until I put that waffle pattern pipe into the major tube, then it had the low deep rumble roar.... just my personal experience.
I actually like the Rusty Daddy logo >< great video as always.
Rust Daddy, gone but not forgotten,
San José represent!
Just stumbles across your channel. Awesome content and high standard of work mate! Love seeing the bikes. Subbed
The build looks killer I'm really digging Those pipes love the external baffles
Cool as ever mate . Like everything your doing .Cheers Paul uk
Great stuff as always
Lol you see that love to us here in Canada. Hit us with another bbbbbobber breakdown 👍👍👍👍
I always think there’s gonna be one more ding in the intro and I always feel incomplete without it 😩
Looking very cool
Dude wish you had mor content on the wiring!! Looks great!!
Nice
Thank you for doing your thing you guys have alot of content and love watching your videos
Badass build bruh! cant wait to get mine going!
Great build
inspirational
super cool les videos que vous faites les gars, continuez comme sa petit bonjour de france
One awesome ride
That bike is so Sick!
Killer tank !
Almost sent you a message yesterday asking if you were going to put out another video! Much love from Iowa
Awrsome video, next time please show ud when you mount the wiring 😊
Awesome build! You are Great at using re-purposed materials🤔😃👌! Love the exhaust system👍You are the HERO 🦸♂️ for tackling that wiring harness💯. Seat, sissy bar and pegs are a great change to the look. Keep it up, you have the vision👌😃
Doooooooppppeeeee!!! Wow man great build! Show that thing off! Really is inspiring to see what can be done. And you make it seem very easy to get into. I have a stock 1100c2 that I hate buying parts off the shelf for. I’m over that stock look. And to pay 400 for simple exhaust I’d crazy. Yours looks better for less. Good build!
Jon Gil yea man, instead of spending ridiculous $$ on parts, buy tools instead. You’ll save a lot in the long run
LOVE FROM VIENNA
Coming along very nice!
I know its like... years past, but i love the look of that baffel add to the exhaust. How did it work? I have straight pipes and need the baffels in them because its just so much. Did this tone down the straight pipe volume much?
Awesome! Great tutorial!
Duude just binge watched like 20 episodes
Yay been waiting for like Eva dude
great work!!! now i can continue my build... 😜😉 thanks for sharing this...
Churakk Kk haha sorry for the delay
@@LNSPLTBLVD how long did you cut the abs pipe for the electronics?
Hello love your workmanship, great looking bike. My humble opinion pillion seat should have been mounted a bit more backwards for pillion comfort if there was a need for a passenger. Just my thoughts, don't mean to offend you. Regards Keith mason - Darwin NT Australia.😃
Awesomeee
Very Nice bike!!!
Omg thank you!!! I’ve been wanting to do the same
🤘😎SWEET💨👍
Where is that complete wire harness kit (in the clear case) from? I really need something just like that - please let me know, thanks so much and awesome job on the video and the bike!
Very nice!!
Look awesome mate but one thing I never understand and bobber why is the peds so high
My wiring is fked. I'm so scared to start on it but you made it look so damn simple.
Love it!!!
This video is fucking door guys! Mark my words I will build a bad ass bike like y’all! And ima ride it to Cali watch! Super fucking dope!
So sick dude looks great
Wow nice work. I like the ABS pipe as an electronic box. Here is a little trick for you, when you shortened a cable it is better to stagger your joints it makes the cable more even and prevent the joint to short together.
Awesome build guys. Amazing. Can i get some dimenisons for the pipes? I'll try to build something similar
Nice work
Love it.
Thank u for the videos
Smh my father inlaw is a plumber I should have made my own etank lol
Look N Good!!
Great video👍🏼
Nice job bro🤙
Nice job bro
Wow keren bro
I like your vision................
Baffles look cool ... machine gun style .... but do they have any effect ? or looks only ?
passengers' right shoe will always burn
Came out sweet man keep them vids coming... looking forward to another video.. what connector kit is that?
Im not sure, gotta ask Vu lol
You have the eye.... :)
Man your content is grade A, but did it hurt anyone else when he grinded the rust daddy logo off?
j aime bien vos motos par chez moi il y a un club qui fait la meme chose que vous, cool
i wish i had the money to afford a bike like that and work on it ;(
Are your bikes still classed as street legal with so many electronics being removed? Indicators and high beam?
i wonder what it sounds like
I'm having such a hard time with wiring up my bike got it off and got the tapes off cut off the turn signals and pretty much stuck there
❤
where did you get or get the parts to make that awesome hands free soldering station?
👍👍from this guy
Noice
What size bolts did you use for the rear seat mounts ?
Rust in peace
Where can i find the same passenger seat like this one?
can the radiator fan still work automatically?
I likes gastank and sissybar
First to pop that 🍒
Bad ass build so far
Whats the plan for the tank
How did you strap that battery? Looks like its floating. Hahaha
How did you mount your battery? I don’t see any battery box, it looks like the battery is just floating in the frame. Is there some sort of bracket welded under the battery to support it or something?
yes theres a bracket under the battery. The battery is located a few inches under the electronics box
LNSPLTBLVD awesome! I’m trying to figure out how to mount mine and what to keep it simple. One more question. How hard is it to remove the caps on the electronics tank? Obviously they can’t be glued on. I’m thinking of doing the ABS black pipe (budget friendly) but wonder how easy it is to remove the caps to access the components stored on the inside.
Rebel Made its not that hard. use some force and theyre off
Where can I find this kit
what tyres are these? name and size, please
This means don't forget to use fuses and relays to protect your start switch and smaller accessories. www.competecoalition.com/the-importance-of-checking-out-the-cca-of-a-motorcycle-battery#:~:text=This%20battery%20uses%20the%20AGM,of%20at%20least%207.2%20volts.
So question does the baffles on the end of the pipe just for looks or will it add back pressure on engine like that ?
for looks
Hi lm build my first bobber bike l need help in the electric you have diagram
anyone know the riser/handlebar setup?
what size of pipe do you use?
dgfoto 1.75” ID
Why no high beam
WILLIAM BURNETT dont need it
You didn't show us all the lights etc actually WORKING :)
FezzantPlucka lol you’re right. I’ll do it in the next video
Why is it that every bike build video I watch, the welding makes cringe. 🤦🏻♂️. Awesome build though!
