Topology optimization ≠ shape optimization. TO involves linear static finite element assumptions while SO involves both linear and nonlinear finite element analysis. Fusion 360 has the SO built in. It is Nastran In-CAD that has the TO built in. The confusion must be clarified.
thanks so much for the insight and the video. I currently have an educational License but can´t seem to get the simulation done. always fails. Went through 3 times.. (
I'm looking for post processor or a 5 axis hurco vmx 30ui that is compatible with fusion 360cam . The generic hurco post provided by autodesk does not work with the machine. do you have any recommendation or contacts that I can pursue to find a proper post for our machine? thank you.
hi Matt thanks for your great videos I follow and purchase your work on many platforms.
thank you so much, that's very helpful!
I plan on using this for future projects!

Heyy bro, can you please elaborate, any tutorial would help
Great video! I read somewhere that you can optimize the part for 3D print or CNC machining. Do you have any idea where those settings are? Thanks
You're looking for "Generative Design." It's a separate workspace.
veryhappy thanks

when i click on solve and solve 1 study, it shows error and fails to complete the task. how to get it completed???
I wish I could run this locally
are these options available for the Autodesk fusion 360 educational license? i'm new to fusion
Yeah they are. But you probably already figured that out anyway
