I had no idea Syrian people were this relaxed, down to earth and friendly with outsiders. Its almost as if you don't even feel like an outsider there. They make you feel as relaxed and at home as one would wish for, almost everyone smiles there when they greet you and everything about them from their mannerisms to their outlook on life seems top notch. This country absolutely deserves to prosper and blossom and I believe one day It shall.

Oh my god this bring back so many memories, I remember dining at this restaurant with my family back in 2007 or 2008, I was 7 or 8 years old and we used to go there with local family friends. Syria holds so many beautiful memories for me that I will never forget, it will always remain a special part of my childhood ❤

@I speak what is on ma mind sorry but your logic doesn't apply. You can't compare life nowadays with what it was thousands of years ago, when the rule of life was to either conquere or be conquered. Syria was Christian under Roman mandate but when Muslims conquered it they brought perosperity and justice. They were rather welcomed and same thing in Egypt for example. Muslim leaders were the best in the world at that time.
India by no chance would become Muslim majority by simply allowing the Muslim community to wear what they want. Banning the hijab is not the ideal way to deal with your illogical fears. You wouldn't like it if someone forces you to eat beef, would you?... I also noticed many Hindus cover their hair, so what a big deal? I don't understand. It's just obvious that Hindu extremists are no different than Muslim/Christian/Jewish/or even Atheist extremists. Ignorance is what they have in common.

Here in Syria and in most Muslim majority countries we don't have such a problem. If a woman wants to wear hijab or not it's up to her be it at school/college or not. It doesn't matter.
