Upper Tremont Road - 2023 Memorial day weekend

The turn for Tremont Road is immediately after the Townsend Wye on the road as it begins to ascend to Cades Cove. Just past the entrance of Tremont Institute, the road turns to a gravel surface as you begin the 3-mile deadend drive to the Upper Tremont Road. Although there are numerous potholes the road is graded enough to where most vehicles will have no problems driving on it. At the end there is Middle Prong trailhead, which leads up to Indian Flats Falls.
This was a beautiful getaway drive to avoid heavy traffic in the Cades Cove area. We got lucky and rained a little which kept the dust down to practically none. There is so much beauty on this road its hard to capture it all on video. Scenic views in every direction. Breathtaking waterfall cascades run beside the road all the way to the deadend top.
There is a mixture of music, road noise and me jabbering with the wife in this video. Sorry about the window glare it was supposed to rain again during this drive so I kept the camera in the cab.
