Back to your issue though, I’m not sure about the HSV kasi I never experienced using one eh pero my HVQ goes down to around 385 watts kapag malamig na and occasionally turns off the compressor if the room temp dips below the set temp. Do take note that the HSV seems to be an economy inverter model so the difference in EER rating and overall efficiency might be a little big considering the HSV has an AC induction motor and from what you have mentioned probably an inverter algorithm/PCB that does not run as efficiently as the HVQ. Hi there, I just bought mine but it’s stuck on 001. I literally placed it beside the main door near the garage where it’s really dusty. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Thank you.
Hmm that’s tricy, one way to see if the particle sensor is faulty is by blowing smoke or vapor a foot away from the sensor. If that doesn’t raise the value then it means the sensor is faulty and if it does it most likely means that the space has dust that mostly just settled but I might be wrong. In our home, even just after cooking or frying something does raise the particle counter quite a bit.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the review... Do you know the different brands which has the similar functions? I wanna compare the price and how long the filter could last, but it seems difficult for me to find...
The reason I bought the xiaomi 3H is because they have the lowest price for this feature set, Blue Air, LG, Samsung, etc. all have competing products with less CADR rating for twice the amount of money - most HEPA filters last for 6 months. Xiaomi also offers the cheapest replacement filters in my country at just $30 each. They don’t advertise this but the Xiaomi air purifiers all have DC fan motors so they’re basically DC inverter air purifiers that save a ton of energy. Most other manufacturers (apart from Korean brands like LG and Samsung) don’t have this feature.

That model does not even have a proper particle sensor to begin with so it’s best not to trust the sensor. Slap in a grey H13 filter, set the fan speed to 2 and expect it to run as good as any proper air purifier.

Yeah I’ve noticed the very slight inconsistencies in terms of manufacturing the fans for the new Mi air purifiers The fan is fairly balanced so no worries, not much vibration or noise :)
Can you connect this via MI home? Mine is not working. Customer support asked me to change the location to mainland china but still cannot detect. When i search Mi air purifier 3h is not on the list which is sad. :(
Nice review. I have a few questions; 1. Does the 3H accept the standard filters. or does it take HEPA filters only? 2. Will it still work even if the filter is reporting 0% life remaining?
The 3H will accept any Xiaomi air purifier filter, if it doesn’t have an RFID chip underneath it’s most likely fake and won’t be accepted by the machine. It’ll work for a bit but then it will shut down and send you a notification that the filter is no longer viable and needs to be replaced. :)
To be clear, I'm asking if the 3H will work with any of these filters (assume that they are genuine)? 4.bp.blogspot.com/-X0cnAMsjhNs/Vtr6XiH_6bI/AAAAAAAACxg/g-Xprv-6490/s1600/mi-AP-Filter-All-Types.jpg If so, what differentiates the 3H from the 3?
I received mine just today.. i noticed na yung particle sensor nya most of the time stays at 001 (i also noticed the same on your vid). And I tried searching online regarding this and seems like many are experiencing it too.. i tried lighting up a candle near it and thankfully nadetect naman nya but perfumes and alcohol did not.. im just curious if you experience the same? Unless of course the place is super clean then 001 makes sense lol. Im just curious if its behaving normal or its not since my other purifier (no brand) detects even when i use a perfume/alcohol? Or maybe im wrong and that 001 is not designed to detect dusts?
If the room is sealed and no one cooks or spray deodorant and stuff it really doesn’t go up. But when my ultrasonic humidifier is on it does rise up to 100+ lol and when I vape, it goes up to 500-600. That’s normal, it’s just that our air is cleaner than usual here in the Philippines compared to other more developed countries. 😃
I just got a second one as the first one had a faulty sensor and I was unable to connect to it with the Mi Home app... Sadly second one also doesn't let me connect it to the phone... Many others reporting similar issues. Junk.
Must be a Chinese version, just change the region to mainland China. Sorry ti hear that. Tough luck, I own three of these now and planning to get a Mi purifier MAX for the living room, prior to these owned the purifier 2 which I gave to my best friend-all have been working flawlessly, even the three year old purifer 2.
Pro in terms of performance since it has a clean air delivery rate of 500 cubic meters per hour versus the 380 of the 3H but it’s taller and significantly louder than the 3H.
Because the sleep mode doesn’t ramp up the fan speed and is fixed at the lowest setting which I think is kinda useless. The auto mode raises fan speed depending on the PM levels within the area it is in, therefore the lower the value, the lower the fan speed.
@@KevinSoRandom I returned it. It made I frustrating high pitched noice around the low levels. Especially on night mode where I wanted it, sounded like I had tinnitus.

👋!!! Greetings from the COVID capital of Asia, Philippines! Depends... if you wanna get the pro, get the PRO H for rooms that are above 30sqm If below 30sqm the 3H will be enough, it’s imperative that you opt for an “H” model since it is the one that comes with a HEPA H13 grade filter in the box and is usually more powerful than their predecessors :)
You need to enable "show location" in the app and turn on your bluetooth. Then you will see "local routers nearby" when you start app and it will ask you to connect via bluetooth... Then you will through that window guide the purifier to connect to your router. Once its connected the purifier connects to the server just like you do. You can control it wherever you are.
Max G yes you are correct. I was looking at the larger pro model which strangely can be bought with HEPA style filter. Not sure why they would do that on there models
I vape a lot. The filter life is variable depending on the particulates being detected by the sensor. More or less 1.5 months, I’d say not bad. Filter is cheap anyway. :)
I am well aware of that. My channel is located in the Philippines, my review states the product itself is affordable. It should add context to my comment if you watched the whole review. And for Php1,400 ($30-ish) the filter is cheap compared to other brands.
Samson Tan If you watched my video properly, I bought it solely because I wanted the SMELL of vape or food I bring inside my room gone without opening the windows NOT to clean my room. It’s just a bonus. Besides, vape is just nicotine and water vapour. I’m not smoking cigarettes. 😊
The 3H has included HEPA H13 filter, more accurate particulate, temp, and humidity sensors that has a small fan for faster readings and responsiveness when it comes to automations, slightly higher CADR of 380 m3/h, and quieter sound profile. Anything lower than HEPA H13 is basically useless, the 2C only comes with H11 grade which is basically just a glorified dust trap. If everything else doesn’t matter to the user then a 2C plus purchasing the new H13 filter will be enough for most people’s needs. Then again, the price of the 2C alone is already around the 5,000 peso mark, the filter is 1,300. That’s already 6,300, if you add 500 pesos you already have a Mi 3H. 😊
The H13 grade filter is a significant factor when it comes to air purifiers, that’s still going to cost you another 1300 or so. Then again I’m happy with whatever fits any person’s preferences but I honestly think that even if you don’t use the smart features, the price and features of the 3H is worth it at just 1500 pesos more.
It’s an in-depth review of the product from an average consumer’s standpoint, not scientific/research level you’re looking for-there’s plenty of that on YT. Plus, this RUclips channel is just my way of helping people get the most out of their money. I’m not sponsored in any way, I don’t even earn from this, if you can provide me with an actual particle counter then I’d be happy to do it. :) I’m not investing much on this hobby because I also have a job outside of this to pay for my bills. We all have to earn a living. It’s more for sharing with people how my experience goes with these affordable products than anything else. I am not paid a single cent for this, let me just get that straight.

As I have mentioned earlier, yes they will. The only difference between the 3 and the 3H are just the model name and the included filter.
How long is the filter last??
@@KevinSoRandom If it only works for a bit while the filter remaining is at 0%, how do you extend the filter usage intentionally up to a year?
where did you purchase? how much?
Awesome review. Ordered this na from the same seller. Hoping i receive the global version because some reviews say natanggap nila yung Chinese.
I think you’ll like it, maski hindi global makuha mo you can pretty much use the majority of the features naman sa display.
Best of luck!
Yes, that is also my concern…the Global or the Chinese versions.
my friend the sensor is shit
I agree in some ways 😂😂😂
@@KevinSoRandom So I guess it would be wise to just keep the unit ON most of the time and just disregard those “sensor numbers”.
That’s what I do! Haha.
What's the differance between mi purifier 3 & 3H ??
3 does not have true HEPA 13 grade filtration.
sir. i hope u read this. may link ka san k bumili ng replacment filter?
I just got a second one as the first one had a faulty sensor and I was unable to connect to it with the Mi Home app... Sadly second one also doesn't let me connect it to the phone... Many others reporting similar issues. Junk.
Must be a Chinese version, just change the region to mainland China. Sorry ti hear that.
Tough luck, I own three of these now and planning to get a Mi purifier MAX for the living room, prior to these owned the purifier 2 which I gave to my best friend-all have been working flawlessly, even the three year old purifer 2.
Can you put the link where did you buy this product
Lazada po.
How is this different from the Xiaomi Air Purifier 3 (without H)?
The 3 only has the standard H11 grade EPA filter this one has true H13 grade HEPA filter :)
@@KevinSoRandom Ohhh, I see. Thanks! Just ordered the 3H.
Wise decision!!!
if u have the 3 will it be same if u just replace the filter with true h13

Which section are you referring to? Indoor or outdoor? :)
@@KevinSoRandom indoor mate
How purchase mo??
Nice review sir! Would you still have the link where you purchased it?
Lucky HR sa Lazada po 😊
Which one is better? 3h or Pro?
Pro in terms of performance since it has a clean air delivery rate of 500 cubic meters per hour versus the 380 of the 3H but it’s taller and significantly louder than the 3H.
any differences between the 3 and the 3H?
3H has H13 true hepa filter.:)
@@KevinSoRandom ah I see. Thank you.
How do tou setup and connect to your wifi?
The 3H has bluetooth for easy pairing, just follow the instructions on the Mi Home App :)
Where did you buy?
Lazada! :D
How much? Any link?
Link?
Sorry can’t share links but you can easily find a seller by using the search term “mi purifier 3H’ on the Lazada app 😃
KevinSoRandom with highest rating ba?
why does automode and sleepmode have same sound
Because the sleep mode doesn’t ramp up the fan speed and is fixed at the lowest setting which I think is kinda useless.
The auto mode raises fan speed depending on the PM levels within the area it is in, therefore the lower the value, the lower the fan speed.
I just ordered the Pro version, can i install the true filter?
Yes :)
@@KevinSoRandom I returned it. It made I frustrating high pitched noice around the low levels. Especially on night mode where I wanted it, sounded like I had tinnitus.
Hello! Please tell me if there is vibration on the body when working at 2 and 3 speeds?
Yes, common issue yun hanapan nyo lang proper placement :)
Is it usually @ 001 reading?
Yes, usually around 4-7 in the living room but in my bedroom it can bring it down to 1.
@@KevinSoRandom Oh okay. So safe to say the monitoring of PM 2.5 is quite inaccurate or unreliable? Mine been sticking @ 001 but adjusted once in a while for about 002 or 003.
@@KevinSoRandom Thanks! Mine normally @ 001 but will adjust once in a while @ 002 to 003. I'm starting to believe that the PM monitoring of this air purifier is quite inaccurate or unreliable.

Most likely!
thanks for your comment, I have doubts between the Pro and this one, which one do you recommend? I have a living room with an open kitchen of 32 * M. Is the Pro Model an older fashion than the 3H? greetings from the Netherlands
👋!!! Greetings from the COVID capital of Asia, Philippines!
Depends... if you wanna get the pro, get the PRO H for rooms that are above 30sqm
If below 30sqm the 3H will be enough, it’s imperative that you opt for an “H” model since it is the one that comes with a HEPA H13 grade filter in the box and is usually more powerful than their predecessors :)
@@KevinSoRandom thank YOU⬛️🟫⬜️🐲🧜🏻♂️♨️
lighting a match registers just a smidge over a hundred for the air quality tapos yung pagvape mo 600 plus! 😳
Mostly due to the fine water vapour :)

Pwede b eto sa size ng room 5x5 meter square with the height of 3meter room?
Yes of course
@@KevinSoRandom thanks idol
You mentioned it has bluetooth. How to connect via Bluetooth? I can't connect the purifier to the app using the WiFi method...
Strange as th y don’t advertise its hepa rating. They don’t even claim its hepa at all
This is the 3H and they do advertise that it is H13 grade.
Max G yes you are correct. I was looking at the larger pro model which strangely can be bought with HEPA style filter. Not sure why they would do that on there models
Exactly my thoughts! I was vying for the Pro one but couldn’t find any detail re: the filter so I ended up with this.
66% filter life left after just a couple of weeks?
I vape a lot. The filter life is variable depending on the particulates being detected by the sensor.
More or less 1.5 months, I’d say not bad. Filter is cheap anyway. :)
@@KevinSoRandom cheap is very subjective, depends on where you live.
I am well aware of that.
My channel is located in the Philippines, my review states the product itself is affordable. It should add context to my comment if you watched the whole review.
And for Php1,400 ($30-ish) the filter is cheap compared to other brands.
@@KevinSoRandom dude be vaping and getting air purifier so he can breath clean air lmao
😊
How much is it in the physical store?
I recommend manual mode and setting it to the appropriate fan speed matching 2/3 of your room size.
The auto mode is useless IMHO.
@@KevinSoRandom Yup. I realized this a few days after using it. Currently on 12-22sqm manual mode.
Thank you kuya for this detailed review! Planning on getting one sa upcoming sale ni lazada/shopee.
Ps. Pogi ng boses HAHAHAHHA ✌️
Check mo yung 2C, higher CADR than this but at a lower price. I hardly look at the OLED screen/Mi app after 5 months of using 3H.
@@KevinSoRandom The one for P3,990 in Shopee has just been sold out.
Hi sir ilang oras b required gamitin ang ganitong unit? Pwde b to overnight?

Without a proper handheld particle sensor air test it's hard to call this review an "in-depth", so this deserves a dislike.
I’m not investing much on this hobby because I also have a job outside of this to pay for my bills. We all have to earn a living.
It’s more for sharing with people how my experience goes with these affordable products than anything else.
I am not paid a single cent for this, let me just get that straight. :)
It’s hard to buy the filter for these model, any website you can give me to buy a filter?
