Adding to the "leaving NYC" genre

This is an essay (of sorts). It’s about moving to New York, and it’s about leaving New York. But also, it’s about everything that happened in between. It’s about terrible jobs and the beginnings of burnout. It’s about living in a tiny NYC apartment. It’s about spending a lot of time alone. It’s about seeing the dark underbelly of all my adolescent dreams.
And it’s about hoping, one day, to come back to NYC. Somehow, despite everything, it’s still a dream.

This was such a good video. We moved out of NYC a year ago and I miss it. It will always have a place in my heart. Grew up watching NYC movies. Always said I would move back one day.
